@kirbyfan1005 For me, I just wanted to see the gameplay evolve. I was so disappointed with R/S as a kid because it had EVEN LESS features than G/S/C. No day night cycle, no cell phone, no second region, lacked half the pokemon so we had to buy remakes, crappy berry system. Same dull unanimated battles from the 8 bit games. The GBA is vastly more powerful than the GBC. Why do r/s still play exactly like the 8-bit ones? I didn't and still doesn't make sense to me.

When I was younger, I thought after beating Lance, I was the champion, that I had beaten the game. Only down to two pokemon left. One's paralyzed and I'm out of revives. And then, I go into the next room. The intro to this battle music really perfectly captured my face of "... o_o"
@Megalocalypse1 No, just remember you are hearing the music that gets processed through your computer and then to your speaker/headphones. Instead of the gameboy processing the sound and then output to a tiny crapy speaker. There are bound to be some audible differences because of that. However the music file itself I'm sure is ripped right from the cartridge so it is the same song.
after you beat the 8th gym u fight gary, with most pokes in their mid 40's with his highest level being 53 if i remember correctly, at what point does his ENTIRE team all gain 15+ from that point through victory road and the elite four... someone stocked up on them missingno rare candies

You see my point is, there is strategy behind everything. Sure you can take down pidgeot easily, but can't you also easily take down a Rayquaza using Dragon Dance to power up your Outrage? Super effective ko much?
This song reminds me of taking down the elite four with a TON of potions and my blastoise. I did have a seel, pidgey, and geodude with me but they were completely untrained. I actually think I did better relying solely on blastoise than using actual tactics now that i think about it...

Think of reverb as some kind of echo.
For example a sound lasts 1 second but you can still hear it another 0.4 seconds after that second has passed.

Their nature, base stats, attacks, abilities, 2nd abilities, hidden abilities.. they all affect how your pokemon plays out during battles. L2Play the game..

@iaresheepy none of that shit is in red blue and yellow except the base stats and attacks. Back then it was just a game to play, and there were not many variables. I mean abilities were not even introduced until ruby and sapphire. in firered and leafgreen yeah, but this song is from R/B/Y not LF/FR

@stewardo That's only half of my party.. I didn't name all of the items I use for those 3 pokemon, I didn't name the other movesets, and I didn't name my whole party. Why? Because I don't want you stealing my party. I have 300+ wins and 0 losses on my wifi battle record.
You see my point is, there is strategy behind everything. Sure you can take down pidgeot easily, but can't you also easily take down a Rayquaza using Dragon Dance to power up your Outrage? Super effective ko much?

This song reminds me of taking down the elite four with a TON of potions and my blastoise. I did have a seel, pidgey, and geodude with me but they were completely untrained. I actually think I did better relying solely on blastoise than using actual tactics now that i think about it...

Hey guys, I just bought Pokemon Red and Blue Versions (the new games that came out last week) and what the fuck is up with the new Pokemon? A rock with arms? A magnet that evolves into three magnets? A bird that grows a head when it evolves? A pile of sludge? A literal Pokeball with a face? What the fuck is Jynx supposed to be? And really GameFreak, a mime? Is that the best you can do? I remember when the Pokemon looked good in first gen Black and White. These suck! Bring back the old ones

This music is the best videogame music in history due to the fact that it's just so good and is played at just the right moment.. You've earned your 8 badges through hard work and determination. You have beaten the elite 4 and you find out your rival is the champion. You talk to him. the conversation ends. Suddenly, the screen flashes and this music plays and you feel like a fuckin' bad-ass
