  • Mon homme tu-es une machine je suis ton premier fan... !!!!! Chum à Val École (martin)

  • Great job! Looks like a tricky one.

  • great job - best version I have heard next to Bruce

  • Best cover of this song on Youtube, IMO. Bravo! 5*****

  • I'm a huge Cockburn fan - Bravo my good man!!!

  • Holy moly, nice job!

  • Very nice job.... Not an easy one and well done.

  • really good!

  • this piece would be so easy if you could eliminate all right hand activity. which of course you can't.

  • Admirable job!

  • Great Job!!! One of my all-time favourite instrumentals. Can you tell me what tuning you are using on your guitar?

  • Thanks! Its a C tuning (CGCGCE), with a capo 2nd

  • the capos actually meant to be on 1st :)

  • No capo is second fret

  • oops sorry you're right my guitar was tuned up when i made the comment ^^

  • Great job! I just bought the Cockburn CD, have never tried playing his stuff before, but I'm working on it. Will be looking forward to more of your posts, keep 'em coming!

  • amazing dude... youre very good and continue working , you do a great job

  • Wow Im impressed that was spot on minus the tempo of it in studio-

  • Thanks! Yes, this "walkdown" is something to get, but when you've gone through it slowly, it makes sense. I admire Cockburn for this phrase.

  • That looks impossible to play. I can't even imagine.

  • it's not as hard as it looks or sounds, because it's in an open tuning, so most of it is barring and simple fingerings. except for that part that comes after the main theme, at o:33. That part is insanely hard at full speed! There's 2 bass notes alternating, but 3 notes on the higher strings played in the same time as the 2 bass notes. Awesome job on that by the way BilboBalrog!

  • I'm still wondering why there aren't ANY videos of train in the rain on youtube. Anyway, good job on this

  • That was great. I've been screwing up that tune for years.;)

  • Great job. That's one of my favorites too. Saw Bruce Cockburn live in Barrie, Canada a couple years ago...

    Magic Lives.

  • Very nice. Congratulations on getting the "walkdown" at 0:33. It makes perfect sense when you look at the tab, but actually playing it is brutal...for me, anyway.

  • From Bruce's 1973 album "Night Vision" comes this great cover, good job!

Now lets hear "Train in the Rain".........

  • GREAT

  • just beautiful!

  • VERY impressive.

    wow.

    im awestruck.

  • good job, sounds nice... what kind of guitar is that?

  • Takamine EN30C (discontinued model). Thanks for your comment -

  • You're just fantastic. After playing guitar for 10 years and coming to the realization that Bruce Cockburn is my guitar hero, I'd have to say that you really did Foxglove justice~

  • thanks; it's very nice from you. I'm glad you liked it!

  • very precise, nice tone. i can't get this song perfect, but it's still fun as hell to play. good job.

what isn't fair is that the people who have this song mastered have fingers that are like 90 inches longer than mine. grrr.

  • please tab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    noddah hotmail fr

  • Very nice work! I've always wanted to pick this tune up, can you tell me the opening tuning you are using?

  • Thanks, I use CGCGCE with a capo 2nd.

  • Your "try" is fab!

  • i like it - is this dadgad?

  • Its a C tuning (CGCGCE), with a capo 2nd

  • You've got all the basics down -- sounds great. Just more practice until it becomes more fluid.
