  • My favorite movie of all time

  • @OneofInfinity : agreed!

  • its funny watching this because it doesn't do the film any justice. and yeh, no vangelis soundtrack????

  • The Vangelis score is missing. That music was a big part of the success of this film. I remember I had to wait more than a decade before Vangelis could release an offical soundtrack.

  • what is the big deal about this shitty boring movies i hate it

  • wish they had a 2011/2012 version of this movie, think about the effects and stuff, damn

  • @tudy000 You mean 85 min film composed of CGI and 10 min real ppl? nah thnx, a remake of this film will never be better, another chapter in the same world would be great tho but keeping CGI to a tiny bit ;)

  • As much as I adore this film (in all its versions,) I'd never seen the trailer. And its not very good. But thanks so much for posting it.

  • you know i think 2019 is goin to be worse than Blade Runner, at least the buildings were empty , Sebastian seemed relatively happy

  • nothing worse than getting a scratch u can never itch!

  • he say u braderunner!

  • this movie is almost the stupidest movie ever

  • This moive feels a bit steampunkish now. Don't ya think?

  • Whats the song at 2:10?

  • the trailer is good but why couldnt they put harrisons v/o on it

  • @TheDEATHSTARIII Actors are rarely involved in the trailer-making process. And if you research the history of the film, if they'd asked him for one more voiceover he'd have probably told them to get stuffed.

  • @saskabush2006 Harrisons v/o was already done they could have used it. I know the history of this film. ive read future noir, ive watched all the documentaries. i know harrison hated the v/o, he also hated deckard being a replicant

  • ♥ this movie!!

  • they could easily make this into an anime

  • @DestroX71689

    see cowboy bebop.

  • wow. what a terrible trailer for a brilliant film.

sometimes marketing just doesn't know what they're doing, eh?

  • Got to agree

  • Just watched this movie for the first time yesterday. Awesome film, but I'll need to see it a couple more times to really get it I'm sure.

  • It has been written that each story and so each movie should have something recognisable from your own life, but this movie has nothing at all that looks like something from my life, yet this is one of my favorite movies ever.

  • high expectations for 2019

  • @alexw1981w

2019 looks like a huge distopia. no thanks

  • @alexw1981w You mean the accelerated civic, social and moral decay? I think we're right on track. Not the floating cars, though. But the genetic science isn't that far off.

  • I never forgot the trailer at the theater before it came out because it had narration that wasn't in the film, also had the pleasure of seeing the director's cut on the big screen when it first came out in 1991, my thanks as well for posting this

  • whos the babe

  • sean young.....you may know her from Ace Ventura :)

  • @meowza3k Oh you gotta be shitting me... She's from Ace ventura! together with Blade Runner one of my favorite movies, and I've never even noticed that!

Damn... she's a great actress... Such a different role in both films

  • @meowza3k It's too bad her career derailed later on. She was so beautiful, and fairly talented.

  • Wow, this makes Blade Runner look campy... No wonder this thing flopped in 1982...

  • Really? Ever seen other trailers from that period? Most were atrocious, but back then films were great, you knew trailers were only there to wet your appetite. Today, trailers look awesome and movies suck. Which do you prefer?

  • @plastique45 I prefer a good movie over a good tease. Guess that's why I don't go to the movies anymore. If hollywood can come up with movies like this, ET, Star Wars, Goonies, and etc. Then surely they can get out of their obvious RUT!

  • still the best

  • -several sound differences

    Added: July 16, 2006

-several sound differences (including something dropping at 0:56)

-some different music (If I Didn't Care, for example)

1:17 is a cut shot of Deckard looking out Leon's window

1:21 is a cut shot of Deckard in Leon's apartment

1:49 is a cut shot of Deckard in a crowd. I believe the next shot of Rachel was also deleted

2:04 is a cut shot of Deckard getting up after fighting Leon

3:07 is the workprint version of the film opening

  • Weird that Harrison Ford isn't doing the narration.

  • This is a really beautiful movie - Caden

  • Never say your sorry for the trailer not being letterboxed. When guys like me watched these kinds of trailers for the first time, in a theater, we never gave any thought to how "some day" they would be presented on the internet.

Thanks for posting this. A classic trailer!.
