Here's the breakdown:

Obito's dead, he's not coming back.

Tobi is Madara, Madara is Tobi. He's using the Akatsuki to destroy Konoha.

Obito's dead, Madara is alive, angry, and super hot.

That's ridiculous. Trust me, Obito's dead. There's no reason to bring him back, now that Kakashi's pushing up daisies... How could Obito's revival possibly benefit the plot? Naruto's already facing Nagato, and Nagato's obviously Madara's only pawn. It took this long to reveal that everything was Madara's doing, so it's obvious that he's the main villian. At this point, Obito is completley ineffectual, dead OR alive.
