I am shocked at her clothing. I've never seen her wear anything remotely that revealing. So talented she is. Thanks for the great post, never saw this movie.

@pics2 I was making a sarcastic statement about the clothing b/c this woman in most of the many movies she was in, was usually dressed very modestly. I have watched a good deal of her movies, and just happened to notice over the years is all I am saying.

Yes, we don't usually think of "eternal virgin" Doris Day in a tight, low-cut dress. The only time she flaunted more of her fabulous figure was in the "Hospital Benefit" episode of the fifth and last season of her TV sitcom, in which she briefly appeared in a bikini. She was 48 then, and in fantastic shape.

Actually I did first just watched this the other day it was on TCM. Yes it was good. An unusual pairing Cagney with Day. They did great.
