I went to one beautician&she totally chopped me. Like my hair was armpit length&she gave me a short bob w/no explanation as to why she did that. After that my mom&I worked on growin it out and it grew, then again another beauty shop chop. This time she layerd me like you&my hair has been hell ever since. Now, I'm trying to get natural&get healthy

  • lol not hattin but i just think its hilarious that you had a shoestring in your hair in ur second baby pic!!cute though

  • GOOD job sweetie!

  • GOOD job sweetie!

  • why would you mix chemicals with your natural essence trying to assimilate to european culture? i don't get that.

  • yeah for me its not hard to grow my hair long...im mid back, but then again my mother is a beautician...hair care isn't hard but it is time consuming.

  • Whats the website that tells you more info i want to join

  • @mzbirthdaysex keepitsimplesista.ning.com

  • @joslynnelizabethh041 its a great site you wont be disappointed!

  • omg i can not believe your mom put a perm in your hair at 6. Thats a big no no lol

  • @Shorty14t5 i know. ive seen worst age 3

  • @Shorty14t5 I had a perm when I was 2 -__- but now I am 18 (next week) and it's healthy as can be, grows like crazy, still working on getting some protein in it though. lol

  • @LisaLopes06 damnnn thats young. barely have hair at 2. thats good that its healthy. try ORS hair mayonnaise

  • it seems that its very easy for you to retain length and your hair grows fast ;[ gives me no hope

  • @imanid50dee i wouldnt say its easy...my hair grows at the average rate. which is half an inch a month. It not hard trust me. If your hair is damaged start with a fresh hair cut or a good trim thats what i did. make a regimen and you'll be okay

  • all my hair is the same length like it's all 3 inch layers because i basically shaved my head

    ugh its so frustrating

  • @heyng0zi why did you shave your head?

  • @youngebz07 i didn't completely shave my head there was an 1 1/2 inches of natural hair but i got a brazilian blowout and it made my hair break off and fall out so i just cut if all off.

  • @heyng0zi try wearing single braids and keeping your hair ,moisturized and stay away from heat for a while

  • Ur really pretty

  • @Chrissysoloveable thank you

  • you're really pretty and thanks for sharing. I've been wondering about relaxing, because I'm been natural for about a year, and honestly it's boring to me and very time consuming. I really don't know how some women do it haha. BTW do u have asian roots? your eyes have that look lol (you dont have to answer if if you dont want to btw)

  • @chrisamor thanks. lol No i dont have any Asian in me. well no that i know of

  • so r u still transitioning ? how long have u been transitioning, i have been for 12 months officially in 2 days

  • @Aerogirl530 no longer transitioning to natural. transitioning to texlaxed

  • Did YOU say Waist Length?

  • @sparklejan3 yes

  • my first relazer was at six to because my mama said my hair was to thick

  • Same thing happened to me. But it was beacuse the lady that did my hair didn't wash it out well enough and the chemicals ate away at my hair. Now for Idk how many years its been at or above my ears and just wont grow. But I can't just press and curl my hair cause I live in Cali and I dance a lot. Plus my hair is a beast of its own. Soft, naturally shinny, thick and untameable without it being straight. Plus I hate putting heat on my hair.

  • your welcome

  • Your hair looks very thick! Good for you!! :) It looks more apl than bsl though!

  • @whygeorgia10 thanks

  • do you get your eyebrows waxed or threaded

  • @jewelbenn most of the time waxed

  • hey mama thanks for sharing and keeping it real. my daughter is 16 and she's very sad. See, I relaxed her hair when she was 5. Bad move but didn't know any better at the time. Fast forward and her hair is really short and she wants to keep relaxing and weaving because she doesn't like short hair. Yet, it's not ding her hair any good. She doesn't want to take out the weave because she says her ears are big :-( She just wants long hair. I don't know how to help her grow it now with that relaxer

  • @Reviyve she probably needs a good hair cut or trim and protein treatments

  • @youngebz07 she's had that before. Her hair no matter how much protein or moisture, always feels rough. I'm wondering if it's her ph balance

  • @Reviyve she probably needs a good hair cut or trim and protein treatments

  • @Reviyve let her go natural..

  • @Reviyve she can regain healthy hair with weaves, just let her do some research on it. She can also try braid extensions and wigs until her hair grows to a comfortable length. Just make sure to moisturize n seal her own hair underneath.

  • @Reviyve Hey love I'm 14 and going through the same issue I'm going through I'm actually going to start a channel really soon about natural hair I might even use my same channel now! So tell her to watch me please we could learn from eachother.

  • @Reviyve Hi! If she hate her short hair, have her get a sew in which lasts up to two months. This way she won't have any glue damaging her hair, and her hair will be protected and receive no manipulation. In between sew ins, relax her new growth and trim her ends, then put another sewin in. If you keep this up, you will see a huge difference after a year! Good luck!

  • @honeybeemelissa2012 yeaaa u culd do that but that will mess up yur hair when you take it out and it mite get irritable or turn bad later on plus it takes a long time and its sumtimes painful, really its not helping yur hair anyway tho it does look pretty!

  • @Reviyve You can most definitely do that, cut off all the damaged ends, let her wear her weave but take care of it at the same time, you can try hair finity or some other growth aid which may be an oil or multi vitamin while she is wearing the weave and whenever she takes it out you do a mild protein treatment, like every other week, or one time for the month to prevent breakage and following up with a moisture treatment. She can do pre poos also. Stretch out her relaxers! Join forums they work!

  • @Reviyve stop relaxing let her wear her weave but let it breathe between weaves for a few days and give it a year i bet her hair will grow...buy a good flat iron. as the relaxer grows out cut it out

  • @Reviyve stop with the relaxers and perm if you most do it just use kiddy perms( use the olive oil perm) but avoid it as much as possible wash every 2 weeks. keep her hair and scalp from drying and cut off the split ends. but if she want to keep the weave get her box braids

  • Awwww i feel your pain. And im glad your hair is growing back. another good thing to use if your edges are weak is Emu Oil. u can get this at a health food store or that place called vitamen shoppe. u just massage it into your scalp on your edges like 2-3 times a day and it thickens them up. Another good thing to use for shampoo and conditioner is the Garnier Frutis Triple Nutrition System. this is good for dry damaged hair. and even if your hair isnt dry or damaged its still good for your hair

  • @Mattiwilda thank you ill check it out

  • @Mattiwilda thank you ill check it out

  • Respond to this video...

  • So what hair products do you use?

  • @letrelle13 i have a video on that already. Check out my channel

  • @youngebz07 i have a question... my hair is fully natural.... and i mean fully... if you get my drift... and when i play with my hair... i normal stretch and it reaches... neck length and it's very thick.... if i relax it... now what you think would happen.... plz reply :)

  • @pRiNcEsSlOvEbeutiful it would be straight. Just make sure you take good care of it

  • i guess ill be bsl in 6 months :)

  • @BellaKisses029 you cant grantee you'll be bsl in 6 months. It took me 6 months. maybe it'll take you more or maybe you'll get there faster. how much does your hair grow a month? where are you at now?

  • @youngebz07 just touching armpit length :)

  • @BellaKisses029 thats good! how many inches do you get a month?

  • @youngebz07 a little over half an inch, but may i add im just touching the top of my arm pit though

  • @BellaKisses029 okay then you should be there in december maybe even november!

  • @youngebz07 awesome! :) thanx so much, keep me updated on ur hair growth vids im looking forward to watching

  • My hair has been past BSL in the last year, but in august '10 i cut it to collarbone length and even though I'm taking care of it, it feels like it grew faster when i didnt do anything to care for it? any suggestions? :)

  • @thaliax24 How often do you trim or cut your hair?

  • @thaliax24 only when necessary. I think its probably just the fact that now I'm looking for growth so it appears to be taking forever.

  • @thaliax24 thanks:)

  • @thaliax24 Thats also true! " A watch pot never boils" I asked about the cutting and trimming because some people trim there hair more than it grows. Im not saying your doing it, but i just asked. You just have to be patient i stopped watching the growth of my hair because i too find that when i do it looks like it never growing. PATIENCE IS KEY!
