I had my handy stitch for years without using it because I couldn't even thread it! I pulled it out and followed your tutorials and it actually works! Now I will put it to good use. Thank you!
Okay, so I followed all of your directions in all these HandyStitch videos EXACTLY, but it has yet to work for me. The needle just punches through the fabric really quickly and the thread refuses to go through. I thought it was the fabric, but all 3 types I tried just got poked full of holes. I've used sewing machines before, and I've never had this problem. I'm not sure if it's just me, or if there's a defect with the machine, but I have a costume competition in 4 days. Help, please!
@GANJAR3LLA This keeps happening to me too! Did you figure out what was wrong? My Handy Stitch is really old, so I don't know if there's something wrong with the machine or if it's just me.
Thanks for the tutorial! it was very well done and so helpful! We bought an aftermarket Easy Stitch and the threading instructions were not complete. You saved the day and we are now sewing everything in sight!!! thanks again!
