Quick questions. What kind of paint for the flower? and what kind of clear coat did you use? Because it did not harm the pain used for the flower. Some chemical binding finishes would burn or curl up paints. I ask because I'm about to do the same thing. Thank you. Great video.

Under the floor is a crawl space. It was extra deep right there because it's where the furnace used to be.

I think it would be neat if you sanded back over it-- so the wood grain comes back through the paint-it would give it a distressed look.
