the only thing Shamefull is that fights break out in capoeira and some of its partitioners see it as foreign. What the fuck is the name of the group that you guys train in. Had this been angola the lack of finesse could definitly be critisized however it was not. noss luta arte. If you wanna throw kicks and not get kicked hit or taken down join the gymanstics team or somthing.
firstly, Capoeira is a real fight. And what happened there is nothing special!! If it was a street roda they would have let those two fight it out and kept the show going. And if you knew anything about Capoeira, you would know that grappling and wrestling is all part of the game too!!
Actually this is untrue. While there are techniques that are meant for taking down an opponent and putting them to the floor, it should be done with finesse and timing, not grappling. Capoeira is first and foremost a GAME...we play Capoeira. It has a fight element to it, but it is not a real fight. For this to happen in a street roda would be shameful, as it shows the inexperience of both players if they resort to brawling.
What a damned shame. These guys were performing capoeira when things suddenly got nasty, and a real fight broke out. No one was properly trained for this type of thing and everyone died. bahahaha what a joke.
He went in for a take-down and didn't do it right. Capoeira has some techniques that work in a real fight, but overall, it's a game...people train Capoeira mostly to play Capoeira, not usually to learn how to fight.
@BboyQuikz i agree if you want be good fighter you must traning karate , muay thai oraz something else but capoeria realy is game if you play capo you not thinking how to kick you opponent just play for fun and have good mood :D

capoiera is good for long range defense but not really effective in closed combat. You need jui jistu/judo grappling skills for that
