It's a shame that the bands of the last 30 years or so that call them selfs rock n roll bands dont have the class that the bands coming out of England in the late 50 an 60 showed, they have so much respect for the musichians and the music they played tGod bless musicians like George and outher guitar players who love to play rockbille ,i guess im just saying the same thing as to what said charger 19691 said
Great musicians and singers can play and sing any kind of music, George Harrison knew and respected where Rock and Roll came from and Carl Perkins was one of the founding fathers of Rock and Roll. This performance shows the love and respect George had for his hero and the music that was in his heart. God bless these musical giants!!!
@charger19691 Great guitar playing by Carl and George Harrison is also fine. Truly, Ringo was always my favorite Beatle then George. Love all these "old guys"
This is the great George Harrison (as far as I'm concerned) at his absolute best!!! Just rocking out with the great Carl Perkins! Talk about keeping it real!!!! This is awesome!!
Carl was a big influence in George, but for the whole band Elvis, Chuck Berry and specially Buddy Holly, were the biggest influences. You can hear a lot of Buddy Holly ticks in Beatle's early compositions. It's true, however, that in legendary solos like the ones of Can't buy me love or All my loving, the sound, the style and even the licks are clearly influenced by Carl
@christopauls Since when does spelling require cleverness? You learn it in elementary school. Or you should have. That's about as basic as education can get.
