  • MY FUCKING TOEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

  • nostalgy....

  • Did you in one playthrough by yourself, defeated EVERY SINGLE ENEMY in the game? Stuff is incredibly hard. I think there are over 1000-1500+ enemies that normally apear without duplicate spam/won't stay dead.

  • April is so hot!

  • XD Oh geeze, Get the AVGN in here to comment on the grammar mistake! XD "Thank you for your playing!" Shouldn't it have been, "Thank you for playing!"?

  • HORNY TONIGHT

  • I got it brand new in September '92. It took my brother and I 6 months to beat it. We both learned that you actually have to beat ALL 3 difficulties in order to get a proper ending. Was well worth it, though.

  • Its a great game no doubt :) Nowadays people only play WOW games, online things and they pay for it!

  • All I remember from this game when my cousin had a SNES was "MY TOE! MY TOE!"

  • Hero Turtles? WTF? They're Ninja.

  • @Mrkaine666 I'm getting tired of having to reply with this. Wikipedia states: "In the UK, TMNT was released under the name Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles (TMHT). This was due to the controversy surrounding ninjas and related weapons such as nunchuks at the time." and "The TMHT version was aired in other European countries".

  • this music kicks ASS

  • If somebody has never even heard of TMNT or vague has heard of it, showing the cast of characters here is a good introduction (Casey Jones is the only notable missing).

  • ~ This game was brilliant. I recall playing it at a friend's house in Summer of '93 till we beat it. And April looks hot when she winked.

  • 4 people didn't finish the game nor watched TMNT at their childhood.

  • ah good ol times! Games like this were the REAL shit! Today its all about: Oh look I got all trophy in Barbies Ponyranch....

  • Super Shredder was an absolute push over here compared to TMNT3!

  • April's cleavage is on full blast.

  • Wait, why the hell is Splinter ouside, on the news? Isn't he supposed to be keepin' himself, and the turtles, a secret? I mean, the art of invisibility and all that.

In the movie, he got mad (Sort of...) that they were in the newspaper...

  • @nicholascooney Wikipedia states: "In the UK, TMNT was released under the name Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles (TMHT). This was due to the controversy surrounding ninjas and related weapons such as nunchuks at the time." and "The TMHT version was aired in other European countries".

Some other games censored in Europe were Ninja Gaiden (Shadow Warriors) and Shadow of the Ninja (Blue Shadow).

  • @lmphk

making tmht out of tmnt was not the baddest thing they did in localisation.

    example:

the located and only available versions of the "contra" games in germany were named "probotector" and the characters were robots instead of mercenaries. back in the days, i wished i could have the original contra games :(

  • tmht?

  • Fucking awsome

  • april is too sexy on 1:58

  • >implying a blimp can carry the Statue of Liberty.

    >implying carrying the Statue in that manner wouldn't cause its structural integrity to collapse.

    >implying turtles are heroes and not ninjas.

God I love retro video games.

  • i love this game it the bast old time

  • teenage mutant ninja turtles...ther arent teenage anymore...the are more like.....middleage mutant ninja turtles!!

  • 1:55 how the fuck can a blimp support the statue of liberty

  • @stuff456789

    that's konami logic there ;)

  • he was a dificult boss

  • This game is a classic! takes me back to my early high school days.i still play all my classic games on NES and SNES super mario kart. super street fighter. Contra original ninja gaiden games. i played Super C on March 1st to celebrate it's 20th anniversary just for fun.lol!i'm 32 and i remember showing my younger sister the history for Nintendo games sarting from NES all the way up to wii and xbox 360!

  • I remember when I 1st got to Super Shredder on hard mode, it took me 2 hours to finally beat him. This was one of the hardest bosses I've ever faced.

  • 'k.

  • I miss games that thank you for playing them at their conclusion :-(

  • I miss games that do that in Engrish.

  • Hahahaha, I remember when I first saw him turning into Super Shredder. I didn't expect it at all. I just about shit my pants. XD

    "OHHHHH. I am SO DEAD"

  • This fight was so funny....if you pay attention to when you hit super Shredder, his arms turn in such a hilarious way.

  • when Don has his feet burned, he makes a funny face too

  • Woah, has anyone played house of the dead? The way the final boss moves around is exactly like shredder.

  • Hehe, you did better in Hard Mode than Normal mode.

  • Probably because I had warmed up from Normal mode already.

  • i wish shredder was as tall as he was in the arcade version

  • fucking classic!! Kids nowaday don't appreciate things like we do. Because they have nothing to base it off of. Games like this Pwown games today. Simpler but just fun period. Like Mario Bros....original Mario kart for NES....Super punch out! Street fighter 2 they are just Epic!!!

  • @daury2006 Super Mario Kart was on the SNES

  • @daury2006 Kids can apprecate them if you introduce the games early. My brother, who is a student teacher, saw a couple of kids who play remakes of classic titles.

So don't complain about it; find a way to bring the games to the kids! :)

  • @Davtwan I'd be all for that remake thing, but... the remake of this very game was so horrible it scarred me against them for life.

  • @daury2006 I hate this mindset... There are hundreds of incredibly fun games around, you've just got to look deeper than Call of Duty.

  • "My Toe! My Toe! *Alarm Sounds* "

Who knows many times I played this as a kid.

  • I can't wait for this to come out on Virtual Console!!

  • I wish! This game would justify the Wii's existence!!

  • the longest way to fight him for me i just waited for him to cast the frost spell then went in and took hits

  • our reptilian heroes? LOL

  • i used to own this game it was cool

  • it sucks that beat em ups are dead! they need to remake them! i miss games like this!

  • Hey, they are remaking this game. It will be downloadable on Xbox Live Arcade under the title: TMNT Turtles in Time Re-Shelled. It has been upgraded graphically as well.

  • Technically. They fucked up and used teh arcade version and not the SNES one.

  • That they did, I downloaded it and while fun, it wasn't the same:(

  • Well, my expections dropped when I first saw that it was Ubisoft that developed the game and not Konami.

  • Sad but true as I had the same feeling upon hearing that.

  • Who was that idiot that jumped in the air at 2:02 ?

  • One of they guys in the fight at the start of street fighter 2

  • I hope this comes out for Wii Virtual Console!

  • forget wii, XBLA

  • ya the announced that the original arcade version port of this game is coming to xbox live.i cant wait for that.

  • Not a port, a 3d Remake

  • Im worried for it

It's a nice idea, but the 3D sidecrolling is kinda...unecessary

I try to think of castle crashers in 3D and it looks horrible

  • There's been one leaked video of it.

Looks good, animations look identicle to the original. But the one thing I dont like how they move in 8 directions.

    You have to see it

  • Sorry, not 8 direction. 360

  • great game.. beat all on arcade and sega and nes, also.. april is such a babe xD

  • I love how they don't even properly animate him falling off the platform.

    CHEAP!

  • I love that game

  • 2nd player sucks. -CERBY9

  • Wow. I didn't know the turtle blimp could carry something as heavy as the statue of liberty

  • With the ninja turtles, physics is nothing! Hah ha!

  • the credits am funny. when its shows the bad guys its got them beating up the turtles lol

  • For some reason, I always laugh whenever one of the turtles is yelping "MY TOE! MY TOE!"

  • STONE WORRIOR!

  • why donnetelo? Leo is the best!

  • 'Cause Don has been my favorite turtle ever since TMNT 1 on the NES.

  • And Don is the best for single player games since he has such long reach.

  • That is true, however, each Turtle has a certain scenario that they are ideal for. Take Rapheal, for instance. He and he alone of the four Turtles were able to score the much-coveted No Game Over Run on TMNT II The Arcade game on the NES. Idk what Leo and Mike's scenarios are tho lol.

  • What do they say when they die? it sounds like the turtles say:oh helga! xD

  • The say "Oh, shellshock!", just like in the two arcade games.

  • "Oh Helga"...XD I lol'd hard, thanks for that kbf

  • V_V

  • shredder turned into the freak

  • You see that freaking idiot kid jump at 2:01? and what's splinter doin there? he's suppose to be hiding?!?

  • Haha, for some reason I never noticed that kid there, good eye.

  • thats why i love youtube, it always brings me back to my childhood, i also remember staying up late to beat this game on hard mode, i was to sleepy to enjoy my victory over super shredder

  • man i would do anything to play that again oooo the memories of beating it on hard as a child...MAN i so wanna play this game again

  • what's different than normal mode ?

  • You don't get a real ending in normal mode, Splinter just says that you have to complete the hard mode.

  • this game was to awezome

  • Raph was the man

  • you notice that every video of this has you beating it with donny

  • Don is my favorite turtle in these games, for the simple reason that he was such a tank in TMNT 1.
