@sjiyuey i dont have the 350, so i couldnt tell you :( if you do get this one it is very tail heavy so you will need to put a lot of weight in the nose
@mrTreekiller666 make sure the center of gravity is exactly how the manual describes. either dead on or a little bit nose heavy. i didnt do that and it resulted in so many crashes. this plane is nice in the air and can also be pretty aerobatic. dont go full force on the sticks either, its very sensitive. hope this helps
@MrRockoutLoud ok thanks and i need help me and my papa opened the box charged the batt and did servo testing all the servos work excepted the alerions all the wires are connected and not damaged but they wont work the left aleron gose straight up and doesnt move after that and the right dosent work at all but when i revers the plug on the reciver the left works fine but the right wont
ok....i understand....i was curious is all. i can only land and takeoff here on my private strip to the west...because of powerlines. i rarely takeoff downwind or land downwind though unless the breeze is very gentle. and it looked tail heavy to me..very unstable. but you done good. i subbed your channel....
@emoore1978 thanks for subbing. the plane is tail heavy, which didnt help me a number of times... but i havent gotten around to fixing it up lately due to school work and even if i did the weather has been crap lately (even though i like rain) it even snowed today... but hopefully i can get this bird in the air again soon.
@emoore1978 i cant make an approach from the other end due to trees and cars, plus this was my first successful flight with it and i didnt want to risk anything
Nice video. Im glad to see you it only took a few try's before you were flying well. I just got this Cessna and she's a beauty during taxi, but I haven't had a sunny weekend to fly her yet. :/
@NateFoshizzle i have found that it is very tail heavy, so before your first flight i would recommend putting a bit of weight in the nose so it will want to go forward. thanks for watching!
Try straighting it out, then putting the throtle down almost all the way when your about 3 or 4 feet off the ground and put the runner and flaps up so it will land on the back two wheels first then cut the throttle all the way. hope it helps you, but it wasnt a to bad of crash.
what park is that? I have got that plane and im trying to find a perfect place for a maiden flight. There no pedestrians there? Cause where I live (tokyo) there lots of peds. What time of week and day is that? Please help
@averredude101 well if you are in tokyo then you will have a LONG airline ride ahead of you. This park is on the eastern USA so i dont think it will be very accessible to you. but anyway its called Happy Landings (ironic isnt it?) and its in Pennsylvania. there are usually some sort of soccer game or lacrosse game down in the field so i cant always fly here. but good luck with this plane. and thanks for watching
@MrRockoutLoud No no no I mean I will compare the park to the one in tokyo. There is this huge park right next to the tokyo cargo terminal and 2 miles from the airport. That park however is soooo popular for picnics. Well I have not tried it during the week day. Maybe its less crowded.
@averredude101 well, in that case i would recommend a relatively Not-crowded area for the first few flights until you get use to the plane. i took the landing gear off of it after i snapped the main nose gear and it flys a bit better, more aerodynamic. i take off downhill and land uphill at this park until i removed the gear (much like the popular SABA airport) it flys nicely on hand launch and belly landing. hope any of this helps you out, happy flying! it was during the week after school BTW.
When flying control your altitude with elevator; when landing control your altitude (decent) with throttle.. Keep the nose up and fly her all the way to wheels on.
@trondyne thanks, i tried to do that and usually do on my other aircraft but there was a crosswind and i am still getting use to how the rudder works in rc. but i do know how to use it in flight sim. i ended up taking the gear off of this thing after a gust almost threw me into a fire hydrant and broke the nose gear completely off, it handles better w/o gear and is easy to hand launch and grass land
Cool if that works for you.. I like landings.. I have a Airfield 182 from Nitroplanes, I replaced the wheels with three inchers, removed the pants and so far she seems to love taking off and landing on the grass...
wats better this plane or the 350

Is this easy to fly iv mastered the rc supercub lp

@AllJailbreaks once you have the center of gravity correct it is easy. i have so many coins and fishing weights in the nose of this thing

why would you land downwind?.....you landed oppposite of the direction you took off from....there was obvious wind.....

the first time he flew it it was a complete EPIC fail

oh and way to use those landing gear!
lol jk
trainguy3 1 year ago
@trainguy3 yep, too much headwind, full flaps, and full throttle do not end well when flying a plane for the 1st time lol
