"On no other country on earth is my story even possible" Then why does President Obama believe we should adopt of all the policies of countries where he knows wouldn't allow others the same opportunities, or even him to become President?
@RulerOFmany you may not understand such things, but this speech is often credited as one of the best speeches to o down in history. This speech practically sent him to the Whitehouse.
I'm so happy he won. I live in Australia, so I was at school when I heard the news. YES WE CAN! YES WE CAN! YES WE CAN!
Hitler was a good inspirational speaker, who promised "change"... wow, if this is what Democrats vote for, all of you would have been great Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin supporters.
Hitler also gained power because he got th support of millions who knew NOTHING about what he stood for. Much like the uninformed Democrats voting for Obama. I likme to call them "sheeple".
I compared the stupid Democrats who can't even name an Obama policy, but will still end up voting for him to The German people of the 1940's and 1930's.

I feel truly sorry for America. It's the end of American exceptionally, whether you like it or not. If America stubbornly continues to be arrogant, the rest of the world will leave her in the dust, leading to America becoming a third world country.
By that, I mean 0.1% has the money, and the rest of you live in slums.
Well... seeing as how congress/senate manages our economy, and they both have a Democratic majority, I don't understand how Bush can get blamed for that.
And trust me, it is a lot more than .1%. If it was that, we would have had a revolt already. Stop exaggerating, and face REAL facts. Democrats are shit, Obama has NO policies, and all that they do is make bad decisions and blame t6hem on Bush.
and before you try to argue politics, take note of the fact that the Dems have had a majority for only a year and a half, and during that time Bush has vetoed anything they send his way. This clusterfuck we're seeing is all Republican made. So enjoy the next 8 years - you earned it.
"Obama is like Hitler"...man how truly stupid can one individual be, so what's next, is he going to start putting white people in concentration camps and start WWIII? While his cabinet does nothing, gawd you're an idiot of the highest magnitude
I never said that Obama is like Hitler. I said that his supporters remind me of the German people who were lied to and manipulated after being promised "change" by an elegant man with little experience in politics.

Once again, I am not comparing Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler! I am pointing out the similarities between the supporters of Barack Obama and the supporters of Adolf Hitler who basically believed a similar message: "Change!" "I care for you" blah blah blah.
except..... back here in the land of reality he was elected to a senate seat... and ran a pretty damn good campaign. We can chant "inexperienced" all we want. Till you can prove hes a bad president, your just making stuff up when you spout negative garbage.
But then... Obama haters just dont care about making stuff up do they?

And what do you have to say for the Bush haters over the last 8 years? Don't give me any of this Obama hating bullshit until you realize that the Bush administration had to deal with the worlds largest group of liberal hippie douche bags on record.
If Obama does a good job, he is a good president I guess. If he does bad, the Liberals, Democrats, and Obama supporters will blame it on the "Bush legacy".
Largest group of hippes? No, Bush's detractors were telling the truth. Joe the Plummer, Sarah Palin and John Mccain were proved to be lying about Obama.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
umm.... what? The fact that those people do not support the leader of this nation is purely un-American, they do not deserve to vote, or be citizens at all.
Wrong. Patriotism is supporting your country all of the time and your Leaders when they deserve it. Bush did not, Obama does. Bush cheated to get into office, obama smoked Mccain.
Barack Obama is going to be the next President of the USA. If you don't like it, that's fine. We had to live with your "president," now you have to live with a guy who deserves the job. Obama 08!
This is the real Obama: voted for FISA after he promised he wouldn't voted to fund the war (many times) wants to INCREASE military spending wants more troops in Afghanistan voted to keep the patriot act supported Israel's 2006 invasion of Lebanon voted for sanctions on Iran and supports more supports the National ID Act against decriminalization of marijuana a member by proxy of the CFR a part of the New World Order wants more government spending and taxes One source: knowbeforeyouvote. com
"Most of what you said applies even more to McCain."
I agree. Republicans, neocons, Bush, McCain, they're all fucking nazis. That still doesn't make what Obama voted for or supports a good thing.
The left/right paradigm has been foisted on us by the ruling establishment. The truth is theres not much difference between republicans and democrats.
The people in this comment section are not thinking rationally,Obama is for MANY of the same things that republicans are for. That is the ugly truth.
there is a couple of problems with that statement. the only reason he voted to fund the war is because bush threatened congress to send troops into iraq without proper protection. secondly, afaganistan is where we should be. thirdly he is against legalizing mary jane because if he wasnt he wouldnt have a chance at the presidency. i have no problem with it not being legal because if it was, then it would be much more expensive. lastly, its not like mccain isnt guilty of the same stuff.
Even if was taxed heavily, the buyers would be much better off than now, when a war is going on against innocent civilians who are not hurting anyone.
But you can't heavily tax a weed that grows almost everywhere, people would use their own, and if you start arresting people for that, it's a de facto illegal substance.
Stop worshiping a puppet of the NWO. His staff is riddled with CFR members. He kowtows to AIPAC who wanted and got the Iraq war and now want war with Iran.
You're absolutely right...so if electing a president is about much more, why is it that you think Obama is qualified to be VP? Obama himself pointed out that hypocrisy when Clinton condescendingly "offered" Obama that position.

A few things - I think Obama would be a very good president, but I just dont think, in a General Elction atmosphere, that he will be electable, against McCain. Obama has garnered some independent voters but has FAILED to win the votes of BLUE COLLAR, MIDDLE CLASS VOTERS.
If Hillary is the nominee, I believe she would put Obama as her VP, and through that experience, give him the electability chops he'll need, for running another Presidential campaign.
Point taken I suppose, but that's assuming that Hillary is in a better position to beat McCain and I think polls right now are pretty inconclusive, especially with the fickle nature of the people of this country.
Yeah, polls are inconclusive, as always. The latest one I saw today ( I think by TIME), had Obama and McCain at 45%, to 45%, and Clinton and McCain at 48% to McCain 45%.
In so many words or less, that's my reason. So yes, I reiterate, I would love the "Dream Ticket," but I think we can win it if the name Clinton is at the top of it.
BrandonLori, you don't have to suppress your real concerns. If you think Obama is too black to defeat McCain, say it! You would still be wrong though - because extremists on the Left and Right cancel each other out. What matters is a candidate's appeal to the center and to new voters. Obama beats Hillary HANDILY on both these criteria.
OMG - that is SO brain-dead. The election will NOT be between Obama and Hillary! In the general election, even the Democrats who did NOT vote for Obama in the primaries will vote for him if he is the Democratic nominee. They certainly will not vote for McCain! The worst that the most hard-core racists will do is, stay home. Therefore, Obama will win. Do NOT confuse Primaries with the General Election.
I agree with gary2wild. I have faith that Hillary supporters would vote for Obama in November, despite the divisions. A lot can happen from June to November, just like a lot HAS happened in the past couple of months. Once Clintonites can get past their egos, the Democrats can unite. I would get past mine if somehow Hillary is the nominee and I expect nothing less from fellow Democrats if vice versa happens. Sure, I'd kick and scream in May/June but come November, the choice would be obvious.
You're absolutely right...so if electing a president is about much more, why is it that you think Obama is qualified to be VP? Obama himself pointed out that hypocrisy when Clinton condescendingly "offered" Obama that position.

Sure, I agree that I'd prefer Hillary over McCain but at this point, it'd be more beneficial for the Democratic party if whoever is losing quit while he/she's (in this case, she) behind. Even as an Obama supporter, I'd say the same thing if Hillary and Obama switched places in delegate counts this late in the primaries. And that's coming from a stubborn man like me!

The question is not how to get managers’ emotional commitment but why manager’s don’t give it even if they like their company.
Most managers have plenty of emotional commitment to give to their jobs. If they can be convinced it’s safe and sensible to give it.
