FYI this is one of her very favorite songs...she would spin and dip and dance and snap and clap and laugh and smile then she would close her eyes and just get lost somewhere in that music....Listen to it and picture her boogie! Love Again and again and again....Ruby
Encountered this music in a 70s porn movie, in a scene where Leslie Bovee was being brought to ecstasy by her 3 manservants. Wonder if any royalties were paid?
Although NBC's TOMORROW SHOW (Tom Snyder) used a number of theme songs during it's 9-year run (1973-1982), Snyder chose this song to be his theme music when the show first went on the air.
Somebody said awhile back that 400 years from now this song will still be remembered and I believe it will. We are losing many great talents of the past. God bless you Barry White. I pray he has been good to you as you have passed.
My all time favorite 45, because I played this so much, I wore it out, TWICE and had to rebuy it. What a magnificent, timeless soaring song. I so miss Mr. White, the big bass voiced groovemaster, songwriter, composer, & conductor of sophistication & class.
My Dad bought this album when I was a kid (i'm 47 now) and I could not stop playing it, sounded great then and just as good now. Barry White's voice on the album was a blessing
this was one of the first songs I remember skating to in the 70's... So many memories... I miss rollerskating... it was my life for over a decade... My father used to manage a skateland skating rink... Boy the stories and the thousands of people we met... thanks Barry for all the memories....
@MrConde22 ...Right! And Maestros have real bands, or in his case orchestras, to showcase their talents! Today's so called music doesn't even come close!
Barry White!! Would love to hear his vocals on this! Does anybody have it? Please post it if you do! When I performed with Diana Ross Gilbert Alexander Askey her then MD (I'm sure I'm spelling the name wrong) did and arangement of this for us at Ceasars Palace and added in the "Soul Train Theme"!! We kicked it!!!!!

The strings section, the steady beat of the cymbols, and "wacking sound" guitar riff are all elements of the sweet 70s music.

of course nobodys voice could get a woman as hot as the maestro's voice but here he showed he could do it without singing a word
