In portuguese we say taht we can't take the clothes from St. Antoine to give to Saint James, there will be one with the good you think you're doing and other with the damage you want to avoid.
I think you mean, "This is actually 'Uma Brasileira' written by him FOR Paralamas, YOU idiot." Though actually, a more accurate insult would be "you ignoramus". Idiocy is very different from lack of knowledge. I guess you can't expect either accuracy or civility online.
In any case, it's a great song and not titled "One More Time".
It's it civility when we let our lack of accuracy express itself before give a look somewhere and see if we're been exact? ok, sorry for the idiot insult and the shabby english. but think about what emotions you spread when you say something you're not sure. We say in Brazil: when we can't say something good, we shut up.
This song is "Uma Brasileira", written by Herbert Vianna of Paralamas do Sucesso", and Carlinhos Brown. It was a hit for Paralamas, not for Carlinhos. I don't think that Carlinhos Brown ever released a recording of the song.
I posted my comment because I wanted people who liked the song but didn't know it to know where to find it. (They wouldn't find it (easily) by searching for "One More Time.") What I got instead was criticism that I was inaccurate from someone equally inaccurate.
In English, we have 2 phrases that apply. First, "the pot calling the kettle black" that is being criticized by someone who does the same thing. Your called me inaccurate when your comment was equally (perhaps more) inaccurate. (What emotion does that spread?) The second is "no good deed goes unpunished." Try to be helpful and all you get is slagged. If you had only just written, "It was a hit for Paralamas but it was co-written by Carlinhos." That would have been more helpful.
it could be helpful, but it would be wrong. So we see someone singing a song and we give him the credits by saying "oh, the others played it very well but he has a bit in it two"?. Listen to his musics and lyrics, compare it to Paralamas words and something clear as water will appear. I said sorry for the insult, and it's not my video, so stop moaning.

Very clever the idea of "one more time." Know the version of the Los Hermanos for this song.
