One more thing; My father tells me that lurking in the Mediterranean is a massive recently discovered uh...supervolcano? Or is it just a coincidental ring-shaped cluster of titchy little volcanoes? It's probably an actual supervolcano, if you ask me. Btw; it's completely underwater.
If it erupts on a massive scale soon, and your theory is correct, the Mediterranean will rise, tsunamis will flood Greece, northern Africa, Spain, and Italy, and then it'll blast the sea to the Moon. Interesting,eh?
Thankfully undersea volcanoes are more stable. The water pressure keeps the material ooze out through small fractures. The ocean also acts as coolant. If the erupted the would behave like the Hiawaii islands.
True. The ocean would suck up the gases. It would only be viscous. We could be seeing more islands in a few thousand years, even an atoll. Oh,uh oh, umm... nevermind.

Yeah. We're melting our breaks and turning it into lubricant for the earth. The lubricant's effects are destroying us.

Robin, if you do see this comment you must realize that scientist fail at their theory's many times.
