@orange451 how did you handle collision detection in this? I found it hard to do so (efficiently) for a tile based game I've been working on.

if all the "tiles" are stored in a 2d arra, you can easily get the ones near the player, by using it's x and y position, such as array[x][y]

There's a bug, I was underground next to a pool of lava while a creeper exploded, and I was able to pick up the lava blocks....
