"Levin" and "Trueno" just means the difference between pop-up headlights (Trueno), and..er..regular(?) headlights (Levin)

This naming convention was ditched after the AE92 Corolla since pop-up headlights have never been used since. Ergo, any Corolla AE101 and up would be a Levin.

nice corolla. its the e10 model but not the hatchback version. no evo or wrx. 650 hp is too much for the 1.6 engine of this model so it is definetely a swap. anyway, if the hp is true it is a very good job. and those who say that it would beat an evo or a wrx with this horsepower, are wrong. first of all cause its fwd. nobody wins 4wd at drag with such hp

this goes to DragonInfraXtremeRGT.... a corolla can do up to 650 with a 1.8 l engine on boost if you change pistons n rods.... that's low boost too.... off the raw engine for a 20valve blacktop gives off abt 163 stock. n if u run that on boost, not even a b16a with turbo can keep up.. i like honda but i drive a 95 corolla. with a mr2 engine:)... a 3S- GE(2.0)...........

this isn't your mom's corolla. theoretically, and car can be made to high hp, just that on some cars it would cause so much on modification it's not worth it. no, 8th gen's aluminum block can't handle high boost, but you can always sleeve the cylinders and crank the boost up.

just curious but what kinda Work do you mean? For me to put a turbo & intercooler in my car would prolly be pointless considering its auto. The standard I had was freaking fast as hell I wish i didn't have to scrap it*crys*. I've put a $300 alternator (lifetime warranty) new rad, new bottom end bearings and oil pan, spark plugs, spark plug wires and cap. I just cant find any computers or anything to help it get power. Anyone got any ideads?
