@TheJoniscool Well, it's a late reply but whatever i'll answer anyway. Cornell(the lead singer) was having personal problems with the other members. The 3 other members were still somewhat busy with Rage Against The Machine and Morello and Cornell were also doing solo projects on the side, they decided to just disband audioslave alltogether.

Me too. I heard the live first and thought it was awesome. This is alright, but it moves better and has more energy live. I am not sold on Boots' lyrics (both meaning and placement) and I feel like this recorded version exposes that.

Wow. When I heard this open for Nine Inch Nails, it was easily one of the best songs of the entire concert, and SSSC was just the opener. And yet...this lacks all the energy that the singer had in the live performance. He sounds bored. Not only that, but they deemphasized Morello's guitar work and drowned it in this now-horrific vocal work from Boots. I was expecting to hear an even better version of the song that I loved from the concert. But..it's not. It's just not the same, and in a bad way.
