  • there is plenty of violent crimes in the philippines, beleive me,these guys here are talking bull***,for more then 20 years i come there (being married to one from mindanao) and there are plenty of robberies and shootings, some of which i have seen there happening in broad daylight!!

  • Good stuff buddy, keep the videos coming please

  • Manila is still safe though, I was able to live there for a few months in Quezon city beside the ice factory, I walked around on my own, made friends with some trike and jeepnie drivers, joined boxing clubs and went drinking in kareoke bars...the drinking was fun 99 pesos for a big ass tankard of miller...kareoke...not so fun :D Still can't wait to go back I really enjoyed it, Makati was nice too, very modern but I liked Manila the best.

  • lol, the cost of being white in the Philippines..stay your white ass in the United States..Stop trying to pay to have sex with underage girls (or boys) in that country.

  • @MrDarkLogix

Are you serious ? Some kind of a sex pervert that you only think of this stuff ? Maybe that is what you do ha ! Philippines, and my videos, are about travel and adventure Idiot !

    Popeye

  • CAN I RE UPLOAD YOUR VIDEO? COZ I LIKED IT

  • this is true to most large cities in the philippines but not in davao. the mayor is very strict and bribing the police could get you more in trouble.

  • Davao is a great city, never had a problem and very friendly people. Always had a good time there.

  • @PipenFalzy

Yes I agree. Safe and clean. Cheap too :)

    Popeye

  • @PipenFalzy Davao is where I intend to retire!

  • Sa bagay, tama naman.. Pay the frist person, hehehe tama ka joe! sorry na lang sa ating mga pilipino. Or kung gusto mo ng action ISUMBONG MO KAY TULFO! ..

  • @awel2011

Cheers salamat ! What is TULFO ? Gov't agency ?

  • @BadLadzResort Tulfo is like Geraldo Rivera in U.S. it's an investigative team/ TV show in Manila only.

  • @BadLadzResort hehe it's a TV show in Philippines where there 3 brother whose last names are Tulfo. They are the one who help those poor filipino who doesn't have the power to fight with those high officials just like the police.

  • don't get me wrong..i love the philippines,my wife is from there, and i visit it regularly, and pinoys are nice folks in general...but it is a violent country...there is a lot of crime..including kidnapping of foreighners in different parts of the country..

  • @mitsupitsu44

he he, there is that kind of crime in every country and really, after 13 years here and traveling all over I have found it to be safe. Fort Lauderdale, Florida was more dangerous when I lived there ! So was New York, Los Angeles, and Vancouver.

Basically, there are a few places you should not go, like the Island of Mindanao, but there are 7,000 other islands to go to !

  • @BadLadzResort My fiancee lives in Davao. I went there a couple of times and felt safe. However, knowing what I know, I felt like I was more or less in a fortress city. I had a great time. My fiancee says they are far from the terrorists. Far to her is a few hundred miles referring mostly to the Abu Sayyaf whom I think is probably the greatest threat due to their heartless beheadings. The feeling is probably different when your roaming around other areas. I don't feel that freedom with Davao.

  • @BadLadzResort don't get too brainwashed by the media that mindanao is dangerous. jolo and basilan are a very small part in remote areas of mindanao. davao, zamboanga, general santos, cagayan de oro are among the many livable cities and perhaps even more peaceful than manila.

  • @kumentador I traveled all the way down the Zamboanga peninsular and had no real trouble at all. It's like you say, be aware, don't be flashy or arrogant. I had one little spot of bother in Sindangan when a Trike tried to charge me 600 peso for an 8 peso ride. Apart from that it was all good. You just have to be a little bit smart and DON"T BE ARROGANT.

  • @rogo321321 good lord, P600 that's too much. sadly, these opportunists take advantage if you are the foreigner. you should have a travel buddy who's a local or at least somebody who can negotiate for a fair price. be safe on your travels though :)

  • there is not a lot of violent crime in the philippines?????????????????? i do not know which part of the philippines you live, but most of the parts that i know( especially mindanao) do have a lot of violent crimes, they shoot you for a pair of nice shoes or cellphone if they have too..thats why i always go armed in the philippines( and my inlaws armed too..)because you never know whats gonna happen..and i was in the army which comes in handy.

  • @mitsupitsu44 do not generalize mindanao my friend. a lot of cities here are more peaceful than in manila.

  • yeah his right corrupt police,,,,thats why our country is very slow progress,,,

  • hahaha.. that's kinda funny story lol... I went to the Philippines for a holiday a few times and it's kinda safe in fairness... it's only the media that making it's worse...

  • @edpannewyork

You are so right ! I tell my American mates " At least no one is walking into a Mcdonalds, Post Office, or University with a machine gun or running airplanes into office buildings ".

I feel much safer here !

    Popeye

  • Keep up the great vids!

  • yeah... this guy needs a new camera man... shaky video .. no offense to the camera guy

  • @theFounder87- what he need is a better camera, you know, pixel video stabilization something like that.

  • sad but true. this is the fact about the phil.

  • wheww..

  • it is because of the influence of former presidents, movie industry, media here in the philippines... i hate it!!! but i hope i could stand up for we filipinos could make things right.... >:(((( even thou i hate some of the filipinos still i want to help to make it better again before philippines was the 2nd riches country in asia after japan the mindset of filipinos today is because of the influences that i mentioned a while ago.. like the corrupted Gloria Macapagal Arroy and Joseph Estrada

  • Cheers lad, happy to have your advice. Last guy I know that did that went to the police station and it cost him $5k to get out so he could leave the country to go back to work :(

  • and one more thing, the police tried to wave me down 4 times(.they were pulling over white people only)i went through all 4 ,only one time they came after me.I pulled over in front of the hotel lobby,i said you have no business pulling me over, and im not giving you any money.to make it short ,they left because to many people gathering around. Never give them money, stand up for yourself.mouth them off, they will let you go and look for someone like the guy in this video

  • the police are sent out to get money no matter how.they have to pay their comander a certain amount or get fired.big companys moved out of the philippines because of the corruption. It's like they bite their own ass

  • he he, That's why i stay ! Never have been a big fan of rules !

  • That's why we left!

  • sigh.. sad but true.. with money in the Philippines you can pretty much get away with everything. Life in their is very cheap.

  • @SexDrugsPistol69 Well, Germans say "A fish starts reeking from the head onwards". Problem is that the Philippines is more like a monarchy than a democracy. Over 55% heads of all national offices are run by philippine clans. I mean, WTH!!

  • i think its not in general, you cant do that in cebu city or you will get killed.

  • @rahj8786

I do it there all the time. Haven't found a place in the PI where it does not work

  • @BadLadzResort in kalinga its a province ruled by tribes and tribal war is still going on there

  • Thanks for the Channel

  • BEST advice ever! PAY THE FIRST PERSON! Philippines is not America. They play by their own rules. Two hundred pesos is only $3-4 so don't worry about throwing a little bribe money around.

  • Always some good advice.
