It's not misinforming. The only good act of Trotsky in the Bolsheviks was the creation of the Red Army, but his most significant paper was the defaming of Stalin and anything associated. He couldn't admit losing the election to Stalin and turned blind, using every means possible to spread his lies. Who dares about Trotsky? No one, even Lenin, who was much closer to Stalin.

Stalin lost the election, only because those who weren't on 'his side' had been purged from the party. Trotsky wasn't the 'angel' of the party, Lenin and Trotsky had their differences. They were both important in the theoretical section aswell. It was only in 1917 that Trotsky first joined the Bolsheviks, remember this.

The thing is there is still lots of old Nazi propaganda around about Stalin (Remember The U.S.S.R. and Germany where worst ennemies at the time). A lot of the lies on Stalin's regime are mostly the works of the Hearst Foundation, Robert Conquest, Aleksandr Isaevich Solzhenitsyn among others.

No. Communism is a pipe dream it could never work. It didn't work when given the chance in Russia, it certainly wouldn't work if given another chance. Yes there are countries that do enforce anti capitalist regimes even in our enlightened times such as Cuba but considering that the western powers have economic supremacy and stability obviously a capitalist society is the better choice and is the choice accepted by the world as it rewards hard work. Doctors should not be paid the same as binmen.
