well, the HPV virus that can be caught when having sex is not the same strain as the cancer one! I hope people are aware of this! You can't get cancer from having sex! x

Use a condom. That prevents cervical cancer too. and it does not hurt. And there is not a chance of death when you use a condom. The vaccine has too many side effects and girls are dying from it.. Not to mention, it has no guarantee you will not get HPV, or any serous side effects. and if you do get sick there is no recourse.

My daughter is year 8 and will not be having the jab. Girls don't be fooled into believing that this jab will stop you getting cancer. The most important thing is to get regualr smear tests and not have unprotected sex.

I'll be honest with you, my first one hurt more then my second. but for sum people its different x .. there are 3 injections in total and the distance between the first and the second is like 1 month but the 3rd one is about 4 x

I had mine at school but you dont have to you can do it in private for free. im only 12 and also got through it! my arm is still abit sore today! good luck and dont be scared! xx

Omg Omg.... so scared bout the jabs.. got mine next THursday... Last injection i had was wen i was 6 and i pulled it out! The one i ahd 4 mi fillling dint hurt cuz no1 told me i was even having one at that moment! Any advice to help me!? x

It hurts less than a bee sting, just relax, don't look at it, and you won't notice.

yeah i had them last year seriously year 8s dont freak out it doesnt hurt as long as you dont tense up your arm please remember that its the best advide i can give u xxxxx

yeh i've had em 2,they don't hurt but the nurse was a bit stupid on my first 1 she couldn't get it in twice and on the 3rd go she just stabbed it in,i've got a scar now :(

I've had all 3 of my jabs. The second one I had hurt because I looked at it before. If you dont tense your arm, and stay calm you'll be completly fine :) x

it hurts at first at the very first second if you relax your arm
pretend that u dont know its gonna happen and dont tense up. then it may sting for the rest of the day or it may not it depends on if u tensed ur arm
just be brave and have it done i have had it done and i am in yr 11 now preparing for my vag

i had my first injection yesterday and i gota admit it isnt the nicest feelin in the world but it can save your life , its not gona hurt half as much as cancer would, wich involves alot of needles. my arm just feels abit achy as if ive got a bruise. but go 4 it girls its worth it xx

I am so puzzled at the concerns voiced here have more to do with how an injection would hurt and it seems as if not one is looking into the gardasil side effects that have destroyed the health of young people and young healthy women even dying after having this injection. And no one wants to acknowledge that HPV is a SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE. If U look up in a medical book just what HPV looks like when the warts are covering the genitals of guys&girls U might chose restraint over promiscuity

I'll be honest with you, my first one hurt more then my second. but for sum people its different x .. there are 3 injections in total and the distance between the first and the second is like 1 month but the 3rd one is about 4 x

OMG me too! and i had really bad side effects! i had nausea,fever and my arm swelled up and if someone touched it i would nearly cry lmao it REALLY hurt. but it really doesn't hurt while its happening :).

I had my 1st one a couple of weeks ago, it didnt hurt that much, not even after it. Then I had my 2nd one and it didnt hurt when she put it in my arm, it just ached when the liquid stuff went in my arm, I go back for my 3rd in 5 months :S

Theres nothing to worry about when the woman went to put it in i moved away and fell of myy chair i burst into tears nd she told me to....
relax, take slow deap breaths and make your arm lyk jelly and sont tense it and wen i did i didnt feel a thing i was lyk YAY hehe

had mine yesterday,,hurts when it goes in then she took it out i was like ''oh is it done'' lol i kept spitting and my arm was aching but cancer runs in my family so i could get breast cancer but cervical cancer is much worse so be grateful ur getting it girliies...only another 2 to go.....good luck and let me know what happens...xxx
