They are not the cheesy boyband that X-factor tried to make them. They are gutter in rapping. The rappers had this Drake/T.I. etc thing going on in their "play my shit" song and video. They had a grown man swag with it ,not backstreet boys. They are 25 for crying out loud, the same age as Drake. And when you have something like dope rappers with hella swag, and a awesome lead singer, it puts a lot of categories in danger. They have the looks which beats out everyone, swag, right level of

SH had two rappers in their group, if you can recall their first live performance, that could have threw Chris Renee's no singing/rapping behind under the bus. There are like two rapper in the Stereo Hogz group. They were not really allowed to show that. Every one is saying one lead singer and that's it, but the others sing decent and rap, that is what the group is really about. Only once were they given a song that fit them.
LA Reed is so beyond annoying. He's absolutely irrelevant and lacks MAJOR knowledge of pop culture. Not knowing "You, Me and Dupree" I can forgive, maybe he's just not into that kind of romcom movies because he's so gangster with his rapper boys; but not knowing Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man" is just absurd for someone who's supposed to have lots of experience in showbiz.
Also, this is the GROUP Category. All four girls in Lakoda Rayne could really sing. SH is just Trey & 4 dancers.
Here's the thing. This band has one great singer and four great dancers. The four dancers should do what they did in the earlier shows, just do a great choreo and humm a little. Then they are probably the best boy band in the world. Lakoda Rayne on the other hand has four good singers, who look good, can't dance and most importantly can't sing together. They have totally no harmony, and I allways thought that was the most important thing in multi vocality.
i didnt agree with the song choice this week....i thought Seal 'kiss from a rose' would have been the perfect song to show off their voices....they could have then had slower choreography...and it would have allowed america to fall in love with this group...too bad....lakoda rayne will go home next week unless they hit it out the ballpark....im willing to bet that in the first week they only made it in bcuz they beat the other two groups in votes...america doesn't seem to get the groups i guess
I think Paula made the right choice. Stereo Hoggz were too boring and just not popular. One guy did all the singing, which isn't fair on actual groups like Lakoda Rayne who's members all sing well both solo and together.
I think they are 1 billion times better than Lakoda range, those chicks really need to and should have gone already. They are soooooooooo gorgeous but in terms of singing in a group--NO! Poor Paula there is no way they will win it for her. GO MELANIE and Chris!

@RainQueen22 I agree. I felt like the Hogzz should have stuck to their original style through the show. I was still waiting on them to give me that great R&B performance. I felt like L.A. Reid would have been a better mentor to them in many aspects. The Hogzz had some stiff competition and they just didn't do anything to stand out.
I think they'll fare better if they changed their name. I can't take them too seriously with a name like that. Now, Lakoda Rayne on the other hand annoys me to the 5th power. Please don't vote for them. So annoying. Groups catergory was a complete nightmare this season. I didn't want to watch another American Idols show.

I feel sorry for the main vocal, he's great but the other 4 are dragging him to hell! They're such a mess together.. take away all the glams and lights and you get NOTHING! If they had stayed on the competition I doubt Paula would EVER give them a song where they just sit and sing because that'll be absolute catastrophe for the other 4 "props"

the group category on the X Factor is a fail. the talent is just alright, compared to the talent on The Sing-Off. maybe that's why all the groups category is falling first.
I'm sure X factor is regretting that they ever had a group category. There isn't a original "group" left. And 2 of the 4 groups had to be created. Major Fail

This year it's been a complete farce. For the live shows, we had one group of four composed of three soloists and a lead singer pulled from an original group that didn't make it past judges' houses. One of the members decided to quit (one of the former soloists), and the remaining three wanted a replacement. They chose the lead singer from another created group, which were eliminated the previous week. Both groups are now eliminated.
I thought that they performed well this week and this is their best performance. The song choice was great too. Shame on la Reid for not knowing Christina's song.
A pity that America doesn't support them :(

I'm reading a lot of the comments. There are a great amount of ignorant people who just aren't open to all types of music out there. This is not your typical group. People just don't get the Hogzz. They aren't Boyz II Men, or One Direction. They have a different stye and America just isn't ready for the Stereo Hogzz.

@SquishyCandyftw Yea, they definitely have a different style. How many motown-r&b--jazz-traditional pop groups or singers do you see out there? Their music style is not the most common. Everybody keeps on going on about them being "one guy and back up singers". There have been many successful groups like that, especially in hip hop culture, which I'm sure the Hogzz are influenced by. But yea, people just didn't get to know them.

Here's the thing. This band has one great singer and four great dancers. The four dancers should do what they did in the earlier shows, just do a great choreo and humm a little. Then they are probably the best boy band in the world. Lakoda Rayne on the other hand has four good singers, who look good, can't dance and most importantly can't sing together. They have totally no harmony, and I allways thought that was the most important thing in multi vocality.

i didnt agree with the song choice this week....i thought Seal 'kiss from a rose' would have been the perfect song to show off their voices....they could have then had slower choreography...and it would have allowed america to fall in love with this group...too bad....lakoda rayne will go home next week unless they hit it out the ballpark....im willing to bet that in the first week they only made it in bcuz they beat the other two groups in votes...america doesn't seem to get the groups i guess

I think Paula made the right choice. Stereo Hoggz were too boring and just not popular. One guy did all the singing, which isn't fair on actual groups like Lakoda Rayne who's members all sing well both solo and together.

I think they are 1 billion times better than Lakoda range, those chicks really need to and should have gone already. They are soooooooooo gorgeous but in terms of singing in a group--NO! Poor Paula there is no way they will win it for her. GO MELANIE and Chris!

@RainQueen22 I agree. I felt like the Hogzz should have stuck to their original style through the show. I was still waiting on them to give me that great R&B performance. I felt like L.A. Reid would have been a better mentor to them in many aspects. The Hogzz had some stiff competition and they just didn't do anything to stand out.

I think they'll fare better if they changed their name. I can't take them too seriously with a name like that. Now, Lakoda Rayne on the other hand annoys me to the 5th power. Please don't vote for them. So annoying. Groups catergory was a complete nightmare this season. I didn't want to watch another American Idols show.

I feel sorry for the main vocal, he's great but the other 4 are dragging him to hell! They're such a mess together.. take away all the glams and lights and you get NOTHING! If they had stayed on the competition I doubt Paula would EVER give them a song where they just sit and sing because that'll be absolute catastrophe for the other 4 "props"

the group category on the X Factor is a fail. the talent is just alright, compared to the talent on The Sing-Off. maybe that's why all the groups category is falling first.

This year it's been a complete farce. For the live shows, we had one group of four composed of three soloists and a lead singer pulled from an original group that didn't make it past judges' houses. One of the members decided to quit (one of the former soloists), and the remaining three wanted a replacement. They chose the lead singer from another created group, which were eliminated the previous week. Both groups are now eliminated.

I'm reading a lot of the comments. There are a great amount of ignorant people who just aren't open to all types of music out there. This is not your typical group. People just don't get the Hogzz. They aren't Boyz II Men, or One Direction. They have a different stye and America just isn't ready for the Stereo Hogzz.

it worked for Nicole and PCD but this time around not sure... (leader and back up singers as a "group"). I agree about voting for LR though, now they are different. Dixie Chicks I haven't seen in awhile and LR can replace them lol!

@SquishyCandyftw Yea, they definitely have a different style. How many motown-r&b--jazz-traditional pop groups or singers do you see out there? Their music style is not the most common. Everybody keeps on going on about them being "one guy and back up singers". There have been many successful groups like that, especially in hip hop culture, which I'm sure the Hogzz are influenced by. But yea, people just didn't get to know them.
