He looked scared to death and i would be too. You never know what a crazed fan will do to get to you. I can't imagine how he deals with the craziness that some fans/paparazzi bombard him with after each show. CRAZINESS!

I met John Mayer @ LAX in September of '06. It was just him and Pino Palladino flying from LAX to Phenix for a show with Sheryl Crow.  He had no bodyguards and no one bothered him at all. He was very nice and took a picture with my then wife. I gave him Led Zeppelin 'Hammer of The Gods' to read.

yes you do have a private life. There are times when you go to major public areas where the paparazi are and people will recognize  you. What you see here is overblown and happens at certain nightspots in hollywood, west hollywood & beverly hills. Go to different parts of LA, it isn't like this at all and even these parts are more tame during the day. This is what makes TV. Do not confuse paparizi frenzi that you see for 2 minutes and assume this is reality 24-7. It is 1-2% of the time.

I am clearly aware of the locations where the paparazi would not bother you. However I don`t see how anyone can be famous like John Mayer that can have any alone time I know they are different parts in LA, where you don`t get cameras rolling down your face but the majority of time you rarely get time to associate with family/friends, etc without reporters. Take Kris Allen for ex. he was out with his wife at a restaurant and the paparazi just ramble him, times like that uncalled for.

I am "that girl" that put the note on his car 30 minutes prior to him coming out, it was a joke w.some girls and I and I didn't even know if that was his car, people just said that. So I took it off but put it back on his car... hmm maybe because did you hear everyone screaming at me to put it back on!!! Haha, seriously people take a joke, it was all out of fun and he is my absolute favorite so I had to do something silly. I am just stoked I got to meet him. :)
