  • my bff went on the scene of filming Coroline. Do u know anybody whose last name is Hamblin?

  • I LOVE CATS UR CAT IS CUTE

  • Just wonderful !

What a fabulous work ! Ray Harryhausen would be glad to see that in 2011 (or 2009…) the animation with puppets is still a masterwork, and has not fallen in the darkness, as digital effects could have let imagine !

  • i like how each interview has music thats so intune with their personality.

  • you are very talented

  • It takes a brilliant team of wierdos and crazies to make a movie so freakin' beautiful...

  • these are amazing! its wonderful how much they put into the smalest things in this film and thats why i love it so much!

  • everyone who worked on this movie is fuckin amazing, all awsome such an amazing movie :)

  • Were did you learn to make all this stuff?!!!!!! I wanna learn too!

  • I adored the cat in Coraline. Great craftsmanship!

  • it surprises me that a lot of the women make the stuff like the lady who makes the hair is a woman the person who makes the clothes is a woman and the person who does the scelington thing is a woman

  • The cat in coraline is cute.

  • I love black cats and own one. They're gorgeous and witchy. I adore the coraline cat. This woman is lucky to be around him 24/7!!

  • i takes so much effort in making this movie!!

  • This video is more creepier if you close your eyes and not think about the video itself.

  • 1 person doesn't like cats to get their head ripped of. LOL

  • 1:09 repeat and repeat WTF e.e

  • Love the sign at 0:28 What makes it great is that parts is underlined.

  • That black cat is adorable. I used to have one, called him Charlie.

  • "Yeah, I've ripped probably, like, over a hundred cat heads." *laughs*

  • I don't trust her with that cat on her lap

  • she's awesome.

  • That is SO amazing. *___*

  • I just imagined something by looking at that cat she was stroking.

  • My favorite piece of animation is the cat waking up coraline. The way the little paw gently rubs her nose--what a great scene. Excellent work Jeanne!!!

  • That's my dear friend Jeanne!

She is an amazingly talented artist of many talents.

Very hard work that was ! 3 1/2 years of stress and tedium.

  • meh fav char is the cat. the way his tails curls is so gothic and cool!!!

  • xD

after she talks about ripping cat heads off, the cat's like WTF!?

  • też chcę TAKIEGO! :) mIAŁŁŁ

  • Well, it's not right to say that Tim Burton didn't have anything to do with Coraline. You could see some parts of the movie that was influenced by him. And in that way he helped to make this movie.

  • Nope. Sorry. If you listen to the commentary or watch the extras Selick says that the backgrounds, design of the characters, etc. were all inspired by the Japanese illustrator, Tadahiro Uesugi. Burton had nothing to do with this movie.

  • Nope sorry right back at ya. Selick was working for Burton a while ago and you can CLEARLY see the bits that was influenced by him. Even tho he doesn't mention it in the extras you don't know if Tim Burton had anything to do with it.

  • Heh. I Bet you think Burton had some invisible hand of influence on Monkey Bone too just because Selick directed it.

  • No.

  • You mean they were working together. Burton and Selick co-wrote the movies that they made together. And even though Tim was largely responsible for the visuals, Selick was the one who brought it to life.

  • Well I guess you're CLEARLY the expert here. Especially since you didn't even watch any of the commentary or extras. Great job.

  • Haha: Cat Parts

  • murder murder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh God, i want her job !

  • Run!!! It's the cathead ripper! D8

    Very awesome job though :)

  • i want i job doing that! how do you even get into that world?

  • How about going to art college?

  • i dont think he was in that, he helped with nightmare before christmas but i dont think he was the director

  • Tim Burton was the PRODUCER of NBC.

  • Tim Burton had nothing to do with Coraline.

  • Henry Selick made this film

  • Tim Burton was far away from Coraline... he was probably making Alice in Wonderland

  • Wow, Just looking at the finished product- such realistic movement! I guess the mechanics underneath would help- just look at the old kind of claymation (Like rudolph the red nosed reindeer, for instance)! They only had wires to go underneath the characters, and here they have joints and all sorts of things!

  • I REALLY LOOOOOOOVVVEEE CATS:DD cute cats:DD

  • XDDD I loved the ending!!

  • omg....that is so TEDIOUS!!!

  • But so worth it.

  • There's probably people that like doing this kind of work.

Like people that like taking stuff apart and putting them back together.

  • what part did the cat make the face at 0:42?

  • At the part where Coraline calls him a Wuss Puss.

  • what part did the cat make that scary sharp toothed face in?

  • That cat was the best part of the movie. I had no idea you unscrewed parts like that but it makes sense

  • ooooooohhhhhhhh...... I love cats and clay and clay cats... :D

  • its so amazing how they can make a sculpture move like it's alive.

  • Even the behind the scenes videos are creepy! I love learning about this amazing film and all the creativity and craft involved in bringing it to life.

i wish i had her job!

  • This person interests me. I love the way she talks about gruesome subjects with that cat right on her lap. "I've probably ripped off.... over a hundred cat heads".

  • OMG I CANT WAIT I'm pretty sure my favorite charactar is gonna be that cat.
