@yao052 Ari was meant to fire him at the begging of the episode because he was not at work or something like that because he said he had a eye condition but in fact he had laser eye surgery which is a cosmetic and not a medical procedure but Ari did not know that and had compassion for him because at the begging he had bandages on he eyes. now he is playing around in the board room with his sight and that's why Ari fired him. More to the story than that he was having a personal crisis also.
@Jhebull But if you recall, the mail room guy wasn't the one Ari meant to fire. He meant to fire the agent who didn't tell Ari that James Cameron was signed on to direct Aquaman. I think this was a subtle nod to the earlier scene.
That was awesome. I'm sending it to my boss as a suggestion on how to get rid of the slackers and texters and employees who have to walk around with their blackberries and whatever fastened to their hip when they should be working and not needing to know if their girlfriend is having a bad hair day!
