how do you install de madcatz en your drum? I have a problem, the cymbals are flimsy and crack for several hours of enthusiastic playing :S sorry for my bad english I'm Latin.!
Great info on the bass pedal. I couldn't stand that plastic crap that came with the kit. Luckily I had an old pedal laying around and decided to try it out. Works perfect!!!!!!! I would tell people that you must use extreme caution when removing the sensor from the guitar hero pedal... mine was glued down pretty good. The difference is amazing.....but I am use to playing with a real pedal to begin with. Great job, nice kit
i haven't bought GHWT yet, but the cymbals on the original kit are so bad that madcatz's are better? but damn that is a nice looking kit with those new cymbals.
I've had problems with mine but all they've ever done is have sensor response problems. And now that my red tom broke and the only way to take it apart is to tear the sensor wires off I have to buy another one. But on the bright side I just bought two Pearl P120 bass pedals so I'm gonna use those for the guitar hero drums, so much better than that crappy, cheap pedal they give you.
I tried putting MC cymbals on my GH kit, but they didn't work, but on my RB kit they work perfectly...strange

The problem is that the GHWT cymbals are flimsy and crack after several hours of enthusiastic playing. Once they crack they do no register properly.

is it possible to trigger real cymbals to use for it
joeymilleralcadeas 2 years ago
I doubt it ... the sensors need an immediate dampening so it registers only a single hit.

well.. my freind said its possible if you dampen it alot
