  • No, this song as nothing in common with "Deliverance". Renaud was very famous with teenagers during the 80s and 90s. Hope to see you on OpiKnife.com soon.

  • Is that song a kind of French version of 'Deliverance'?

I've been admiring the Opinel for too long. I reckon it's about to buy one. Hopefully with a sweet looking olive wood handle.

  • I recently bought this same knife. My olive wood handle is not nearly as attractive as the one in this video, much plainer wood grain. It's definitely a cool knife, but I would consider it a light duty pocket knife. It doesn't seem very rugged.

  • "laisse beton" by renaud would means let it down

  • can any one tell me the name of this song?

  • @CannabisDelux

Laisse beton means "let it go".

Beton is a sling word for the word "tombé ". This type of French sling is call "verlan".

Verlan is an argot in the French language, featuring inversion of syllables in a word, and is common in slang and youth language. It rests on a long French tradition of transposing syllables of individual words to create slang words. The name verlan is an example: it is derived from inverting the syllables in l'envers ("the inverse," pronounced lan-ver).
