@memejawd well, i added no "vocal effects" to my singing. my singing is my singing. the only thing i "changed around" was recording more of my singing to layer over the tracks in order to create harmony. because, i seem to be but one human being who loves the harmonic stylings of the beach boys. as for "respecting artists' interpretations," i'm positive that i do that. thanks for listening!

try to not add so many vocal effects to your singing; the beauty of the Beach Boys is that the vocalists don't need to change their voice around or do anything with it to be fucking amazing singers. Listen to the way they sing it a little more, and instead of trying to "make it your own", try to respect their own 'artist's interpretation' a little bit more.
