I got the gold on this one. just lean on the cars just enough to get the position and work your way to the first place. the car leading the race can be reach at the ""S"" turn right before the end, you do that, and you win the gold. -it took me several attemps to do so-

It's actually easier to learn to beat this track fair and square than to pull off this trick. I tried for an hour to copy this and I am not a bad gamer (S-6, s-9 and s-10 to beat). So it is harder than going without penalties.

And this is why I bought GRID they say the physics in GT5 are better and such but seriously what fun is a game when you just bump off the other cars and you hardly lose speed on the grass I think GRID is the better game by far you spin out on the grass if you arent carefun you lose a ton of speed so you actually have to stay on the track you have to pass cars carefully cause if you dont it usually ends up with some mashed up fenders and one or both of you spin out get GRID dump GT5 in the trash.

call of duty 4 and world at war are much more fast paced and enjoyable than gears or halo. idk there are just funner shooters just like there are better racing games. halo and gears are pretty solid games but they dont deserve half the hype they get. microsoft breaks my heart too. i dont like everything sony does but i definitely dont like anything i hear MS doing for their gamers. cept price reduction for online. aka wow ps3 is free online?

The penalties are a massive pain in the ass. I would rather have to restart the whole fucking race almost. You can get away some times with a 200mph collision and on another occasion get hammered for a slight brush.

Yeah, they have those stupid penalties because if there was damage online, it would just be a demolition derby. Everyone would try to stall everyone else. If there was no damage AND no penalties, everyone would just try to spin thier opponents out. The penalties aren't fair as it is, I would rather them get rid of penalties.

yeah. Although, online races with the F2007 seem to allow quite a bit of rough play. I remember I was in a race, there was 5 of us on suzuka, and some guy clipped me goin round a bend at 150mph. which sent me into a huge spin and crash. On the last lap! People arent very sportsman like online :(

How is getting rammed off the track, sliding sideways out of control through deep sand a SHORTCUT ffs???? And an ai driver falls of the track, then rejoins and heads straight towards me giving me no chance to avoid and I get penalised again! ARGH!!!!
