my iphone will not play videos through the internet.

youtube works perfectly but as soon as i try to watch a video (iphone videos) from mobile websites all i get is a white screen displaying pages of code.

really annoying problem i would be very grateful if anyone could help me out

on my iphone i go on the actual safari and then on to utube the honmepage comes up with just saying loading videos. And when i search for a vid it just takes me bac to the youtube homepage with saying "loading vieos" when nothing comes up please help me

I have a problem with the video suddenly just stops, it plays really smooth and normal, but suddenly out of the blue, with full signal strength (wifi) and all, it stops... The finny thing is, the time still counts down like it's playing, but the screen is black and showing no video... Has anyone else had that problem? Can I do something to fix it? Tried restarting the iPhone, but it seems like it just coming back randomly to piss me off :S Really frustrating..

What are you talking about? Video quality depends on your connection. If you're on a bad EDGE network, don't expect HQ streaming anything.

well.. some youtube only works if you update it. I updated my 1.1.4 to 2.0 and it works now. But hopefully i can jailbreak find a jailbreak for 2.0

when it freses u hold the top button and the menu button till it shuts off and it will restart and should be back to normal make sure you have the latest firmware aswell to stop it freezing

This happens to me only more severe. My video goes really crazy and wont stop. I put it in sleep mode and it comes back most of the time, only with out service for a half a minute. It did it when i got it, when i went to 1.1.1 and now 1.1.4.

It only works on WiFi or Edge. The video has to come from somewhere.

theres a programme in installer called youtube fix, just install that, power off the iphone/ipod touch, turn it back on and you tube should work if it does please comment on my profile

That will not fix it. There is a broken .plist file in firmwares prior to 1.1.2.

The fix was to upgrade to firmware 1.1.2

I managed to SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. Simply downgrade to 1.0.2, virginize, upgrade to 1.1.1, unlock, and then upgrade to 1.1.2.

a) It was like this out of box, even when it was on ATnT.

b) Unlocking it does not change the firmware files. (Old method used with 1.0.2)
