After the show, the bouncer swore that he was going to kill Kurt for what he did and he starts chasing Kurt, Krist and Dave out of the club. They get in a cab and tell the cab driver to hurry up while the bouncer trys to jump in the cab and pull Kurt out to beat him up. After they get away they all end up smoking a joint and laughing about how close to death they may have become.

If you look closely, to the left of Kurt in the background you can see the sound man has a piece of wood covering the mixing board, just in case he gets another surprise from Kurt. The bouncer started hitting Kurt in the face while he was giving the impression of helping Kurt out of the audience. After getting hit a few times, Kurt hit him in the head with his guitar and the band stopped playing to break up the fight.

What actually happened was, earlier that day at the sound check, Kurt was telling the sound man that he couldn't hear himself in the mix, the sound crew thought that Kurt was having a "Superstar Tantrum" and didn't take it seriously so Kurt got mad after a while and smashed his guitar into the sound board. The sound man was a friend of the bouncer and he (the bouncer) told the sound man that he would take care of it the first chance he gets.

What actually happened was earlier in the show, Kurt took his guitar and smashed the screen of a TV in the bar. So when the guy who was actually a bouncer there, had a chance to get him, he did. Kurt actually never hits him.
