  • "Just 1500...?" 1200 is the recommended minimum for healthy weight loss. She definitely wasn't starving...

  • the part were they said how much they lost in a week made me completely forget about how bad crash dieting is....

  • Colonics are very bad for you.

  • Clean your goddamn tounge, thats the normally white fuzz being dyed green. Glad she's learning basic hygiene.

  • At 8:05 is that a videocamera pointing at the bed lmao

  • Wtf? Did they say "just 1500" as if it were some shockingly low number? I'm a male twice her mass, and I eat 1500 when cutting weight, and that is a moderate cut. These people are insane with what they try to imply is "low".

Yes, the lemonade diet is insane, but eating 1500 calories is not shockingly low. And no way her regular intake is 2500. Nobody eats that much to maintain unless they're a hyper-muscular bodybuilder. I'm a natural bodybuilder and I barely eat 2000 to maintain.

  • ALSO that personal trainer is wrong - your body will eat your muscles first IF you do not use them - that means lifting heavy weights, not cardio. Because your muscles give a lot more energy than fat does, of course your body is going to want to consume them first.

  • @Pumzlumz That's blatantly wrong. The body doesn't touch muscle until you get to seriously low bodyfat levels. The guy with the professional training knows better than you.

If she were a female bodybuilder, then yes, she'd lose some of her "built muscle" if she didn't weight-train. But all she has on her is natural muscle, and she won't lose until she starts getting into very low body fat.

  • I can understand needing to eat something else than lemonade - but nuts? They're like some of the most calorie dense food you can get - more so than chocolate, and chips and everything (if you think per 100 grams). She could have egg whites for like 16 kcal a piece, and lots of protein, or turkey, or tuna, or greek yoghurt.

    Silly lady.

  • @Pumzlumz "I can understand needing to eat something else than lemonade - but nuts? They're like some of the most calorie dense food you can g"

I agree... My spanish teacher, a morbidly obese woman used to always come to class whining about her extreme diet she was on, and she had to "survive on nuts" to get through her diet. But she freaking vacuumed 3-4000 calories worth of nuts during the class... Some diet...

  • what 9stone 10stone ?

  • @FairyCake16 136 lbs

  • @FairyCake16 a stone is 14 lbs so 9st 10lb would be 136lbs or about 132.82 kg

  • @faylinameir erm wow I am tired LOL 61.82 KB not 132 LOL

  • LMAO

"The just say no diet: No Sugar, No Dairy, No Alcohol, no Carbs after lunch, and no Fun!"

    Says it all.

  • seven pounds a week..why can't I be that badass!

  • I feel bad for getting excited about the alpaca.... xD

  • i would do this too, but i cant hurt my boyfriend by having to see me that way :'(

  • this makes me wanna lose 7lbs in a week

  • I love how they try to make 500 calories seem little by comparing it to a blueberry muffin but a blueberry muffin is a lot. That is one unhealthy muffin. They should have used a different comparison.

  • @juliemulie345 this comment didn't make a lot of sense. sorry. I know what I'm trying to say but it is difficult to articulate it. Either way, thank you for posting. I have seen this so many times. It's still triggering but thanks a lot for posting :) <3

  • 9:47 NHS screensaver lol

  • Colonics are effing disgusting!

  • stop wishing and do it omg -.- No one cares unless you're skinny or pretty. (sorry please do not reply to this. I've got fucking girl problems now -_-)

  • 7 pounds in a week! jesus this is what i need to do!

  • poo analysis weekend... really? that's what you gotta do for a "sexy" body? really??? Poo analysis... If i ever hear someone say: "oh hello there, long time no see... I'fe recently made a poo analysis, don't i look lean?" i'd laugh and then walk away very slowly in pure disgust...

  • this is completely fucked...

  • watching this while eating pringles. hilarious!

  • did a man pass by with a dog on his shoulder?

  • What kind of doctor is that, just saying "yes, it's okay" to such a stupid experiment?

If journalist are doing such triggering stuff, it's maybe okay, but a doctor should know about the health issues anyone can get when doing these diets!

  • there is no way these women were consuming 2500 cals a day and staying at that size - their BMRs would be well under 2000 cals. they probably ate 1500-1800 cals a day if they don't exercise regularly to stay healthy size 12 as they were.. i'm not sure telling people eating 2500 cals a day is healthy for a woman - if you do you will definitely gain weight! I am overweight and my BMR is way less than 1800 cals!

  • @gypsytracey I thought exactly the same

  • @gypsytracey i suppose it depends on your daily activity, if im just lazing at home not doing much and eat around 1800 calories i gain weight but then again if im out working for 10 hours i can eat 2100 calories and still lose weight, but i agree they shouldnt say eating 2500 is normal for a woman to maintain weight because in most cases it will cause weight gain

  • i like how they're trying different crash diets too. gives me ideas

  • need to find the scale

  • this is stupid.the normal calorie intake for a woman is not 2500 calories, and it's not 2000 calories.1500 is perfectly normal and i am woman of 5'3'' who gains with 2000 cals per day.in lazy dats i may also gain with 1500 calories.just go online and search for your recomended daily intake and you'll be surprised.

  • Poo weekend. Oooo...count me in!

  • disect poo? gillian mckeith would be so proud...

  • this is so triggering...why am i watching it...im tempted to follow in their footsteps

  • @crazylatingirl94 Don't.

  • @crazylatingirl94

I know...I weighed myself half way through (first time in a year!)

  • @crazylatingirl94 why, this diet has serious consequences for your health

  • Her boyfriend looks so upset when she talks about the diet.

  • hey, i reckon they should use the METRIC system. Then there's none of this wierd, impractical numbers shit, just multiples of 10. simple.

  • WHY show colonics on TV???? Why?

  • OMG, that colonic was SO disgusting to watch!!! I didn't know what one of those was until now... you could SEE to poop getting sucked thru the tube!!! BARF!!!

  • I am a size 0 and I did not get this way by doing what they did, it took me 4 years to drop to this size from a size 10 US, it was gradual and more permanent now that I am here.

Doing it thier way is NOT healthy, I get it is for a documentary since I watched this a year or so ago but still it is not a healthy way to go to size 0 or 00.

But then again it is much prettier to watch than the documentary on the severely obese and overeaters in the UK.

    That one was just disgusting.

  • @SupwerCadnyBarz I was NOT talking about girls in general. I'm not stupid, I know what an eating disorder is. I was talking about those girls in the video, who are mentally healthy yet decide to drive their bodies on the edge only to make some stupid documentary that is not going to change a thing anyway.

  • this makes me wanna eat!

  • 5'5, 115, and size 2.

  • honestly i do not get why those girls would do it.i do understand why they'd start, but after a week or so and discovering how it just ruins your life completely i would think they'd stop.i do get why (at least in theory) they're doing this, but no sane person would sacrifice their health, personal and professional life for a document that's not even going to change the world.and i don't think they're super heroic and wish to almost die in order to maybe (!) make a few girls realize sth.

  • this just makes me want to do the same that they're doing, even though they both feel horrible... not good

  • @thea200493 same..x

  • This makes me want to eat actually.

    LOL.

  • i live in america , and it is so much worse .

i thought the UK would be my getaway but only by a little .

  • im gonna go eat now ...

  • Yeah you can havey fat too and ill throw on the strechmarks for free

  • This makes me SO pissed off. Okay, I'm trying to gain weight here, but no matter how much i eat, i can't even gain a POUND, and people, with perfectly normal bodies, WANN lose weight? Argh! Give me your fat then!

  • @BabyC51085 oh God, with pleasure. By all means, please take my thunder thighs, belly pouch, rolls, lovehandles, and butt. xP

  • I am 5'8 and 110 lbs Happy and Healthy :)

  • how the hell do they lose 7 pounds in a week? I barely lose 2 pounds a month even though i work out 1.5 hours everyday...so annoyed lol

  • @lifehappens - respectfully, physiques and figures are made in the kitchen, not the gym. A 15% calorie deficit, coupled with 40 minutes of good cardio 5 times a week should give you 1.5-2lb off a week. If you're sustaining that level of exercise, and still not getting the results you want, try dropping the calories SLIGHTLY. Also - you need to snack to lose weight - amazing as it may sound, try and eat something small between meals - an apple for example...cons your body to let go of fat...

  • Im definately going to do this to get to a size zero :) even though people keep telling me im not made to be it XD and that its unhealthy blah blah blah

  • @KileyRieColston Don't do that :(

  • Well the reason why she is so lethargic is because usually anorexics stop eating gradually. Their body adapts to not taking in enough calories.

  • I would think a colonic would be just like laxatives - as in the "weight" you lose is water weight.

  • @WillowWillowXOX 6 stone is 84 pounds . . . 1 stone is 14 pounds.

  • ure not supposed to exerise on the master cleanse

  • if women want to see their bones go get xrayed, we live in this goddamned he-man and skeletor generation, guys must be ripped women must be bonebags, just doesnt make sense to me, oh and psychologically speaking on average women think that men want them 2-3 sizes smaller than what men trully want them to be hence the whiny boyfriend

  • @ariabassist13 - Women want men "2 to 3 sizes BIGGER" than what men truly want yet women don't "whine" about it. Hmmmmmm. It's an experiment for a story. This boyfriend is a child and needs to grow up. Besides, it doesn't matter what men think - it matters what you feel. If there are women who want to be skinny for whatever reason then no amount of self-entitled arrogance from men will change that. Men think the world revolves around them.

  • @FredericaBimble Right on! Best post yet! hank you so much. Peace.

  • louise doesnt realize that her tongue was coated because her body was going through detox from all the terrible food she's used to eating..she's going through a ketonic stage and the vomiting is also something that happens when you fast and your previous diet was very unheatlhful. i cant beleive the doctors didnt tell her whats going on. She's going through a sugar withdrawl.

  • in my opinion the girl that made it size00 the one who started crying later she really looked great i thought in the size 0 jeans...i dont condone the way she did it but there's nothing wrong with being a size zero if youre comfortable being there. im 5'2 and ive been size 5 and size zero isnt so bad at all. im getting back to size zero anyway because im petite and it feels better. this video is really agaginst being size zero more than the effort to get there whether you do it wrong or right.

  • @traceymallard - Agreed. I just feel pity for all these self-righteous people moaning about all those "poor women on diets." To everyone watching this, folks, there ARE many women who are naturally of small stature. I am 5'2" and can easily fit into a size zero because I am petite! It's high time people start looking after their own backyards before starting on someone else's. There is a bigger fat epidemic than there will EVER be an epidemic of skinny people. Geesh. Are people blind?!

  • around 7:50, the girl with the green soup diet really looks green herself... this is such a sick way of losing weight

  • had the grandpa hat a dog on his shoulders?

  • i never think these women are doing it just to do it

i feel like they secretly wanna be super thin

  • @MediocreandBoring I think the single one, can't remember her name, she's the one who really wanted to lose weight. Louise didn't seem to have any real weight loss agenda, only an agenda to understand the process and such.

  • I feel sorry for these people

  • KRAZY DRAMATIK KATE

  • one blue what a what???? 0:48-0:49

  • @fiendwatch Blueberry muffin

  • you know what. I don't believe this crap. same with the other one, super slim me. It's theoretically impossible to not lose any weight after a week of that. If I did this for 3 days, I would lose at least 5 pounds. what is it to encourage people not to do it? Because it sounds like utter crap to me. Her clothes were looser and yet no weight loss? impossible.

  • the polka dot wearing girl could die faster from her usual diet of alcohol , sugar, extremly fattening food and the reason her breath smells is because she going through a ketonic phase of having no sugar so the body starts to consume the fat stores in her system. She's on fast and usually you feel bad before you feel better then you have energy to function. why couldnt someone tell her this is what happens when you are detoxing from caffeine , processed sugar, fat , and cigarettes.

  • @traceymallard - Because these people do not do their research and learn what they are doing. They are tabloid writers who thrive on sensationalism and that's what they get paid to do. If they would have sensibly gone a diet and got down to whatever size it is then they couldn't stand on the soapbox of self-righteousness telling the rest of the world how "wrong" they are. I'd like to see them get 50 pounds overweight and expose one of the REAL issues in the UK and US. Obesity.

  • the only thing wrong with this diet is that you cant live on this type of regimen, although some macrobiotic diets are extreme like this and people do live a long time on them.

  • this is just another anti skinny campaign! designed to make skinny females feel bad for being petite!

  • @traceymallard Petite isn't being skinny... petite means being shorter. >_> People need to get the definition right. I could wear a size 16 pants and still be classified as being petite because of my height.

  • This show was just repeated. There seems to be two versions of this program.

In part one Louise went in to the sauna wrapped in plastic wrap for 5 minutes. In part two, Kate speaks of having a raisin with one Brazil nut and passes out in the gym.

Chewonairr are you going to re-edit and then post again?

  • cute trainer. ;)

  • What is the point of this whole experiment?? I don't understand. I'm anorexic and trying so hard to recover and it just baffles me watching someone willingly trying to do this.

  • @princessbabe1313 They are trying to demonstate show what happens.

  • "I'd be miserable, anti-social, single!"

    She'd be me. Go figure.

  • @siennavine lol i can tell he wasserious about the single joke

  • they are fat. fatty fatty fatty

  • she's already skinny.. I don't get it. I am curvy but I work out every day and try to eat healthy. So what if We are size 0?

  • oh, lol, I eat like 1000 a day.

but i'm not hungry or anything. :S

    and I sport off like 500, so, 500? :O

    omg, i didn't know that. X_X

  • I would totally do this if I had the help that they have.

  • this is depressing. i would never do this

  • @ruebque I think its more she's talking about herself the entire time (even though of course its a documentary she has a right to). talking about food and your diet gets tiresome for people to listen to

  • @thehapagirl92 I think one stone is 14 pounds? I'm not entirely sure. But I hope that helps...

  • this makes me feel smart byjust eating healthy instead of almost not eating at all

  • damn why can't they just put the weight in POUNDS instead of this british weird stuff?!

  • @thehapagirl92 - lol. Because it's a British show. lol

  • @thehapagirl92 they're in britain that's why...

  • @thehapagirl92 1 stone = 14 pounds

  • @thehapagirl92 British weird stuff? I think the US system is quite weird. The metric system would be better.

  • Comment removed

  • @thehapagirl92 Because it's a British show.

  • @thehapagirl92 1stone =14 pounds.

Every American should know that. The school system doesn' t teach us sh!t anymore....

  • @thehapagirl92 because FYI it's how the british do it. deal with it. it's not complicated.

  • @thehapagirl92 uhm, maybe because its a british show?

  • @thehapagirl92 Because it's a BRITISH show! This might be a surprise to you, but the world doesn't revolve around America!

  • They make such a big deal about eating only 1500 calories or whatever....I do 60min. workouts, work, go to school, and I only eat 100 calories a day. It's not hard...it's just a mental thing.

  • @Skatingangel44 100 calories huh? Have you already planned your funeral?

  • @livkivi I know it's unhealthy and I know it's like slow death....I was simply making the point that it doesn't feel as miserable when you actually have an ED.

  • @Skatingangel44

How is that even possible? :/

  • @freethinkerdangerous I eat two pieces of toast in the morning(80 calories) and if I get reallly hungry I eat a 10 calorie jello.

  • @Skatingangel44 Wow, that's amazing. You're so discipline. I wish I could do that. Right now I'm at 900 calories a day. I view it as a spiritual cleansing of the soul. To stay away from the carnal sin of gluttony. Too many negative views about fasting, for many in the modern world such spiritual acts are now viewed as just a fad diet to fit into fashionable garbage that lose their luster after only being on the spotlight for a season, at times only for a week. Thanks for your encouraging post.

  • @LadyBludgeon I applaud a desire to fast for spiritual reasons, but I must apologize for the original comment and tell you that I am now a recovering anorexic/bulimic. I'm not sure how I survived so long on that lifestyle, but I can tell you that I now maintain a healthier 1200 calories. I hope no matter what you do you stay healthy and never fall into the unhealthy mindset that I did. =)

  • I thought about doing something like this... being 19 and 5'2" and 105 lbs.... maybe i just stick to what im doing now.... though I still feel fat...

  • @darkshadowdestiny I know the diets seem appealing, but you are truly best off not doing them. The diets shown here are very dangerous and could do physical harm. Hence, why they had doctor supervision. What do you do now? Like what you mean stick with what you do now? If you'd like you can message me in my inbox if you do not wish to reply here ;)

  • They just called cigarettes fags. I hope Anderson Cooper never watches this.

  • @siennavine lol.

  • I wanna know how they have the energy to work out with barely eating anything.

  • @BatALash

That's where your will power and your determination come in. I've seen people push their bodies to a point where when their bodies beg to stop they smack them up and practically hold a gun to them, ordering them to keep going.

  • ahahha...diet pepsi? it actually doesn't make you lose weight. But right the opposite. Actually evertyhing with ''diet'' in it has other effects which can really make you gain weight.

  • @polly10022 only because it often contains artificial sweeteners which raises your blood sugar and allows your body to absorb fat, as well as makes you crave sugar and carbs. Also, diet products are full of artificial everything, which leaves you unsatisfied so you actually end up eating more than if you had eaten what you were really craving to begin with.

  • @MLivingbyaprayer

    correct, my friend! (:

  • @polly10022 It depends on the person. I switched from regular to diet coke and it resulted in me losing four dress sizes (from size 16 to a size 10). I'm now a size 6/8 and still shrinking, thanks to diet coke and Insanity.

  • @LadyBludgeon Do not go under a size 6/8 unless it is a medical recommendation, take care of yourself! :)

  • the one guy at the table looks like her just wants her to shut up about her diet, someone with a real eating disorder tries to hide it, they suffer in silence

  • @felicia000fish That's why she's doesn't have an actual disorder.

  • @felicia000fish not necessarily. You can become so obsessed with food you don't even realise your talking about it all the time

  • i know exactly what these girls feel. I did a very similar diet and ate nothing, absolutely nothing for 6 months. It really is a living hell.

  • @deathlyartist how much did you lose? I'm currently crash dieting until November for a particular event.

  • @Bookwirm I lost over 80lbs but I gained over 40lbs when I finished. Yes it does sound appealing but I implore you, please take the better way out. Just eat well, and excersise. You will, and I mean this, you WILL gain it back, if you're really unlucky, you'll gain it all and then some.

I am right now calorie counting and excersising, so I don't cut out anything. I have my chocolate or soft drink if I want and I'm still losing weight, slowly but surely.

  • this just makes me feel fat..

  • @indielove95 It should make you feel healthy!

  • I don't know why women want to have their bodies look like little boys... who are we trying to impress????

  • Yeah, I'm 5'9, 13, a girl, and i weigh 'bout 53 kilos, I lost 3 kilos after going ovo-vegetarian...

  • This is the second video I've watched in which the boyfriend witnesses the weight loss. In both stories, he becomes a whining, sour-faced, needy monster while the girl attempts to demonstrate the unhealthy lifestyle adapted by millions of girls every year. I wonder why these clingy little men can't realize that not only are the projects very helpful, they are also the lifestyles of many women-often based on the desires of men. I wish these guys would grow up!

  • @kavwa2 the other one is with the really cute British tv personality, right? I wish those guys would shut up as well.

  • @kavwa2 You can't blame the men for being worried about their women. If I love someone, I'd also have a hard time seeing them go through a situation like this. I know they're doing this to show women and young teenagers and girls the negative effects of doing this to yourself, but once again, those men care about these women and it's hard and frustrating for them to have to stand by and watch them do this to themselves. It's not like they're stopping them, but voice their opinion nonetheless.

  • @kavwa2 ughh- i know!

  • @kavwa2 fuck off, women do it for women. don't blame men for your psychosis. men don't want anorexic women it's fucking disgusting. he's not being whiny. He does get the point of why his girlfriend is treating her body like crap for no reason. He obviously had no problem with her weight that's why he was dating her. She chose to do this on her own. He thinks the whole thing is stupid and it is. This whole project proves nothing that people didn't already know. CRASH DIETING IS DANGEROUS.

  • @The80sKickAss not to mention the fact that this once again shows that if you make unhealthy decisions to lose weight you can end up with your own television show, more motivation for bulging bones

  • @The80sKickAss - She is a journalist. She is working on a story. He IS whining. Or, is he too stupid to figure out that it is an experiment and not a PERMANENT event? There is a strange phenomenon where men think that nothing ever changes in life and that woman (girl, in your case) that you "fell in love (lust - if you can't understand a woman isn't her "body") WILL change at different points in her life. NO ONE stays the same forever. Fact.

  • @FredericaBimble No He completely understands that it's an experiment. He just thinks its a stupid experiment, which it is. It proves nothing that wasn't already known. It's like shooting yourself in the foot to see if it'll hurt. Don't get all high and mighty. what's this (girl, in your case) and (lust - if you can't understand a woman isn't her "body") bull shit. I get that people change and you don't know me at all so stop acting like you do.

  • @kavwa2 Actually, it's other women who have designated what body type is "desireable" so we have no one to blame for that but ourselves. If it were men who really cared, then I would not have a loving boyfriend.

I do think that in this case, which is basically for research, the boyfriend should be a little more understanding and supportive, and just make sure she doesn't go too far and hurt herself.

  • @kavwa2 As soon as I go on a diet my bf tries to suggest going to dinner or making snack foods. I think dieting irritates them immensely, because they don't (think they) see the difference between 10 or 15 lbs on a woman. They have no idea how hard it is, how much we compare ourselves to thin girls, ect... so it's obviously going to be tiresome to them.

  • @Discordia5 Actually I know a few guys in my life who can tell a difference. I guess it depends where one lives. If you live somewhere like Miami, men tend to sit back and shut up about women dieting, especially when they themselves are dieting too. I agree with kavwa, men need to stop thinking that they're in the center of the universe and grow up. In other words, stop being what the Ancient Greeks called an Idiot.

  • @kavwa2 bullshitt. it's that damn Hollywood responsible for those women being extreme in diets and might i add that it's their own responsibility. everybody nowadays knows how to lose weight healthy and/or gain muscle by eating right and jogging or so, the people who go extreme just want results overnight and not over time. bottomline they are impatient and live their lives througout magazines.

  • @kavwa2

You realize he's concerned for his girlfriend's wellbeing and health, right? The psychological effects this project has on both women is astounding.

  • I'm 5'2" (look 5'4" due to my structure), small build, weigh 118... I feel fat.

  • @BlueJeanBaby012 I am 5'4" and weigh 109lbs and I feel a bit fat sometimes...

  • ive been told sex is the best excercise... ;-)

  • inspiration.. they shouldn't put this stuff on TV.

  • @xxxpixiegilasmxxx i know.. it just inspires you, doesnt it! if louise can be a 00, we can too

  • @kendrasmith100

Not if you have a bigger build. If your hips are wider than a size 00, then you will NEVER be small enough as your bones won't allow it. I'm a size 4 and as thin as I'll ever be due to the fact my hip bones are in the way from me being a desired size 2.

  • @xxxpixiegilasmxxx Super Slim Me inspired me a bit more as I'm planning on going down to 500kcal myself from my current 1000 as I'm still not loosing any weight. I have done a diet once where it was about 1500kcal every 2 days., like 500kcal one day and 1000kcal the next. But I got older since then.

  • White tongue means you're going into detox, it's a good thing, just a sign your body getting rid of the junk in it :)

  • The personal trainer is fat

  • That's just gross. Soup and lemonade?

  • that shit expert looks like calista flockhart, lol

  • Needs moar cocaine. Why do they all leave out of their diets the most important thing the rich and famous do to stay thin?

  • kate definitely has an eating disorder and doesn't want to admit it. doing this "experiment" is only enabling it for her.

  • @shofizzy Um, no. She eats healthy and excercises so she doesn't get fat- she admitted that. Not everybody who watches what they eat has an eating disorder! She's 37! U expect her just to sit around & eat what she wants, not excercise and not gain weight?! What she's doing NOW is unhealthy, but not before. Also, a lot of people have symptoms of eating disorders, but don't have the disease. I sometimes obsess about what i eat, but i weigh 145 pounds and wear a US size 8!

  • @bjesgirl getting older does not automatically make you more susceptible to gaining weight. i know plenty of older people who have always been naturally thin, and younger people who've been overweight since a very early age. i never assume that anyone who watches what they eat & exercise has an eating disorder. i once had an eating disorder & now i'm better &just watch what i eat and exercise. i know the difference. but kate is oddly preoccupied with eating disorders throughout this whole thing.

  • @shofizzy Actually, when you get older (over middle-age-ish) your metabolism DOES slow down. Go take a nutrition 101 or something. Or even high school health.
