Continental Airlines Fire outside Aircraft 737-200 Boeing

I found this somewhat interesting and never knew before they could simulate a fire condition outside the aircraft. I now feel a bit safer knowing they train in this manner.

@usstaralliance Continental invited some of their top customers (500 in all and their guest) to a weekend event in Houston via Flyertalk and this was on of the tours called In Flight Operations. Continental is a great airline, they ask us questions and advice and listen to us. None of the other airlines do this for their top customers.

Not very educated on the subject, are you?

For one thing, an external fire would not affect the temperature in the cabin. Secondly, yes, just like that. Fires tend to happen "just like that." Third, planes like this one have an exit at the front of the aircraft, two at the wings, and two at the tail. Those would be the exit points.
