dude if it is your first time sitting in seiza it is a uncomfortable position to be in. I had that experience to when i started to practice kendo

Yea it hurts
During our summer camp in kendo we had to watch the iaidokas doing an Enbu, it took like 45 minutes. And we had do sit in seiza all the time, couldnt feel anything under my knees...
