What people don't understand is this man is rich. Any president that does anything to the rich this man will call down. How do we keep our food and products from being sold to the people with valuable currency? Isn't that when there will be runs on food? Gas? And shelter? At what point can we dilute a can of condensed tomato soup to where it no longer can be called tomato soup? What size tank of water did we dump into that can of soup?
The point of stocking up on commodities is to allow the dollar to fall so you can trade items and ignore the dollar.

Sounds to me like you dont know a much about The Bible. Theres a Preacher named John Hagee on You Tube. He gets a lot of hate mail. True sign of a good preacher of the word of God. Eqsmooth: Now on to your comments about Reagan and market deregulation Capitalism works! History proves that! Where Capitalism fails is when the government interferes. A couple of examples of this are as follows: The Federal Reserve artificially changing the interest rates rather then letting the market adjust them devaluing the US dollar in doing so.
Eqsmooth: The government under Jimmy Carter creating the foundation work for sub-prime mortgages that was then exaggerated even worse under Bill Clinton. This allowed the banks to be removed from accountability to the market and their stockholders as the government made them give loans to individuals who would never have qualified for the loan they took out. Was it a big surprise they could not pay that same loan back and the housing market collapsed?
Eqsmooth: I know you will never read it but there is an excellent book titled Meltdown: A Free-Market Look at Why the Stock Market Collapsed, the Economy Tanked, and the Government Bailout Will Make Things that details the events leading up to the collapse and what caused it. This book does a good job a sighting backing up the information within through other independent credible sources.
Eqsmooth: Limited government took one of its biggest hits during Roosevelt during the Great Depression with all the social programs that never worked and are in danger of catastrophic failure today. If not for WWII the Great Depression would have gone even longer. If Roosevelt had not interfered with the market the Great Depression would have ended much sooner. Eqsmooth: This current president is happy to demote Americas economic and political position in the world. He is also quick to apologize for our two hundred and thirty three years of history. Like most nations in history there are moments that we could have handled things better. That being said have done more good in the world then things we could have done better. Key to the argument of limited government is the constitution, the federalist papers, the bill of rights, understanding the progressive movement and US history. I have a personal library on early US history that would put most to same. I have read far more books on US history then I probably own. I research my facts also which is something you have yet to prove you do.

I would also add that debaters are not credible sources of information. Nor is TV or Radio. You are the one who apparently needs to read a lot more books from what I can tell. But such is the case of typical liberals who can not provide facts when challenged to do so. Misdirection from the original issue of your comments will not work with me. Become versed in the founding fathers and the constitution then MAYBE we can continue this discussion. I doubt that you ever will though.

I do not bring them up to brag that I have studied them. I bring them up because the are VERY relevant to the debate of limited government... again something you have yet to prove you know ANYTHING about. The other question I have for you along with most liberals. I have watched your other posts here to others as well. With that comment you should have no trouble producing factual proof that you have written such a book, especially if you have sold 50,000 copies. If you give me an excuse or dodge the issue then as far as I am concerned you have written no such book. Eqsmooth: The part I question in you writing such a book is that you called the Federalist Papers my Federalist Papers. One can not write a comprehensive book on the Constitution without understanding and being versed in the Federalist papers as much of the Constitution was derived from them. But since you claim to be versed in the Constitution and claim that I am not as versed as you, then we should have no issue having a gentlemans debate on limited government.

Eqsmooth: The job description and limited authority of the government branches are spelled out in the Constitution so that document is the place to start such a debate. This does imply of course that you for a moment will stop acting like a typical race baiting, name calling liberal that shouts down opposition and uses diversion to avoid an honest debate.

Eqsmooth: I feel once again you have not read all that I wrote you. If you did you would understand that I do not have an interpretation of US History. As a historian I need at least three creditable, authoritative, non-collaborative sources on a subject or piece of information to consider it to be fact. This is a good practice to ensure that what I know is not an interpretation. As far as the Magna Carta having a typo does not mean one can not spell it.

Eqsmooth: Now on to the supporting the president remark The national budget of the current administration is projected by many analysts to triple the national debt. That amounts to more money then we spent on every war in US history combined including Iraq and TARP added together. Now before you get into the amount that Bush pushed threw with TARP (a small in comparison to what Obama has already spent); I called every one of my representatives to voice objection to them voting for TARP.

Eqsmooth: Now on to your comments about Reagan and market deregulation Capitalism works! History proves that! Where Capitalism fails is when the government interferes. A couple of examples of this are as follows: The Federal Reserve artificially changing the interest rates rather then letting the market adjust them devaluing the US dollar in doing so.

Eqsmooth: The government under Jimmy Carter creating the foundation work for sub-prime mortgages that was then exaggerated even worse under Bill Clinton. This allowed the banks to be removed from accountability to the market and their stockholders as the government made them give loans to individuals who would never have qualified for the loan they took out. Was it a big surprise they could not pay that same loan back and the housing market collapsed?

Eqsmooth: I know you will never read it but there is an excellent book titled Meltdown: A Free-Market Look at Why the Stock Market Collapsed, the Economy Tanked, and the Government Bailout Will Make Things that details the events leading up to the collapse and what caused it. This book does a good job a sighting backing up the information within through other independent credible sources.

Eqsmooth: Limited government took one of its biggest hits during Roosevelt during the Great Depression with all the social programs that never worked and are in danger of catastrophic failure today. If not for WWII the Great Depression would have gone even longer. If Roosevelt had not interfered with the market the Great Depression would have ended much sooner. no they dont, the phone calls to vote no on the spending bill in February were like 90 to 1 against the bill. and the fact that they had like 14 hours to read a bill some 1600 pages is bullshit.
in the house, all the GOP voted against it, and it passed on party line.
In the senate, you had the two senators from maine and arlen specter who were GOP'ers switch sides and vote for it.
