Martin Brodeur With an Amazing Save

Brodeur has every record known to man in the books. He is the best period. Hank has an impressive record of 30+ wins in each of his season in the NHL but he doesn't compare to Brodeur in at all regardless of his 21-6 record vs Marty. Brodeur is 10 years older with a softer team now.

Hos career save percentage is 91% and the NHL average is 90%. He played for the best defensive system in NHL history for years. I'll give that extra 1% to his defense so that makes Brodeur an average goalie on good teams.

Also, Brodeur has a below average penalty kill save percentage and an average shootout save percentage.

The media and so called experts forgot to mention all this!!!

Do I really have to embarrass you and post every single record Brodeur owns? There are plenty of goalies who have been in the league as long as Brodeur and haven't even come close to encountering the same kind of success.

His save percentage has dropped over the years due to age. It happens.

Does this stat matter...Brodeur has faced the fewest shots per game than any other goalie. During the Cup winning years Brodeur would face up to 10 fewer shots than the teams with bad defenses!!

In the 4 finals that Brodeur played in he (the team) had 15 wins. 4 wins in each of the three Cups they won, and 3 more in the Final they lost. In those 15 wins in the Finals, Brodeur faced an average of 19.8 shots a game. Big deal! 19.8 shots in nothing and proves that the defense was the star of the show NOT BRODEUR!!!

Here is the kicker. In the 9 losses that Brodeur had in the 4 Finals that the Devils played in, Brodeur faced 28.4!!!
