Everybody with an iPad or iPhone needs to get Beat Hazard. Absolutely perfect port of one of the best top down shooters ever, looks just as good as the PC version too.

great selection metal jesus! i can recommend u some classics on the ipad, that warm my heart: GTA3 - pure epicness melancholia, Another World, Kinectimals, Archetype - i have to try it, it's the best online shooter out there, a pleasure to play mainly because of it's shooting mecanics, Bonkheads the classic, Sworcery, Machinarium, Slice, Oscura. I know you were on a shooter kick recently on the Genesis, but you owe it to yourself to check out Cave's bullet hell title, Dodonpachi Daifukatsu. It might be more than 99 cents, however the full versions on the 360 you have to import from Japan for about 90 bucks! It's definitely worth it on the Ipad for sure.

I would recommend infinity blade 1 and 2 and another game is the.modern combat series it is a fps and it is amazing its graphically amazing and it even has online

@ProjectReality64 - Oh man, I got OBSESSED with Game Dev Story for a while. Every video game fan should play that at some point! I also played the original Infinity Blade to death. Love that game. Gonna pick up the 2nd game when finish some of the games I'm already playing.

@PeteDorr - Perfect Cell is surprisingly fun, and unlike a lot of other games you might find. I might consider doing more frequent iPad videos. That's a good idea... spend a bit more time digging deeper into each title.

@MrTechnoSqueek - I have the Wifi Only model. 3G would be nice sometimes... but for the most part I am always near a Wifi connection.

@MrTechnoSqueek - You'll save $130 not getting the 3G version. However, if you already have an iPhone 4, some carriers let you tether it and then you could connect via Wifi to the iPhone and get on the net that way. We did that when we were travelling on vacation a while back... worked well.

@OGRMaster - Never had a problem with iTunes, and I have over 19,000 songs on my main server. Runs great, even on my 5 year old Macbook.

I'm really impressed by how far mobile gaming has come. Some great examples there dude, makes me want an i-pad now lol. Have to say I liked Temple Run as it looks like it should be on the N64 with the colour palette and the fog effect, very cool :)

@Snestastic - Temple Run is surprisingly fun. The key to these endless running games is how balanced the random levels are, and if the controls can keep things fair and not too difficult. Temple Run does all of that right, and is funny too boot!

i saw someone using the onlive on his Ipad with a controller playing a very high spec game its amazing how far gaming has came.

@yoeycrack1 - I played around a bit with the OnLive app, and it is shocking at first playing "big" console games like Batman Arkham Asylum or Borderlands on your iPad. Once they get the occasional internet lag worked out, that could be the future of gaming.
