  • Yankovic and Miskulin

  • HARVE, I FOLLOWED FRANK FROM 1946 TILL HE DIED. I SEEN HIM PLAY AT THE AIR FORCE NCO CLUB IN WITCHITA FALLS, TEXAS 1951 AND 2 WEEKS LATER I SEEN HIM IN THE MANOR CLUB IN BEAVER FALLS PENNA.

HE SAID "YOU GET AROUND MORE THAN I DO" GREAT MUSIC AND THE OLD ONES BRING BACK MEMORIES. ALOT OF MY POLKA BUDDIES HAVE GONE.

  • Miss those days! When polkas, accordions and shows were more prolific! Miss Yankovic..

  • I remember the Bavarian Fun Fests. Good times! Thanks for posting, Joe!

  • the first band I ever played in at 13 years old was with an accordion player in Pittsburgh. A person is either gonna be (or get) happy (or nuts) after playing/listening to a couple sets' worth of polkas!

  • yup thats my grandpa. i played his accordian and everything. im cool like that.

  • He played the old steelers fight song. I still play it when the steelers play for good luck. HERE WE GO STEELERS!!! HERE WE GO!!!!

  • GOT THAT RIGHT!!

  • Frank Yankovic was my Uncle Joe's favorite Polka performer. My Uncle and I had some great times together listening to Frank Yankovic. They are both gone now, but I still have the memorys of the great times my Uncle Joe and I had together listening to Frank and the other Slovenian Polka Artists.

Thank You Joe Godina for putting these treasured videos of Frank on You Tube.
