  • You lost me at the peanuts

  • That sugar syrup you used looked way too thick , thats why it got sticky on you at the end.....next time try a different alternative or buy corn syrup on the internet

  • @diamondfirenf hey check out my second attempt (uploaded today) where I got the syrup right.

  • are u married?

  • that looks nasty

  • i think spiderman puked on it!

  • I vomited while watching this video.

  • that looks fucking DISGUTING

  • OMG. He made Chicken Brittle. Ah, who cares? Look at him!!!!!

  • Goddamn! He's smokin.

  • you're handsome.

  • Lol he fucked up

  • damn it I messed up on my sauce too, it turned out too watery!

  • Indian or arabic guys wearing long sleeves are sexy in a way. Xp I think that way. Lol. Practice makes perfect. Lol.

  • I think you over-reduced the sauce. It formed threads when it coated the chicken.

  • wow you turned your golden syrup into caramel..

  • lol u know what? i'm sorry, i noticed the comment above but didn't realize it was maangchi's. u can disregard my comment :)

  • i'm half korean and follow maangchi very much and i occasionally make this dish. i made this last night and actually made my sauce too sticky this time. if u add water and stir while heat is on, let's say med-high heat it will thin it out. but did i notice u had the heat off when mixing the chicken w the sauce? keep the heat on, maangchi does this, it will keep the sauce from cooling and hardening and will allow the chicken to soak up the sauce :) but very good job :)

  • you should put a damp paper towel under you cutting board

  • you realy mes up then look at this ha ha ha

  • why does every indian or arabic nationals always wear long sleeves. i just noticed

  • @1225Motorola might have something to do with the weather... that explains one case of about a billion you referred to.

  • can you send me a link to that beat?

  • Looks good. You and the food that is. ;)

  • you should have added some water to the syrup it would do the job!:)

  • Remember when cooking you have control. You can decide to use something or not. I think often we feel if something is already prepared we have to use it. Not so. If the syrup doesn't look right, make another one : ) The chicken looks really nice.

  • Good job!

  • You can fix that by tossing them in the oven low heat. It should melt the sauce again and not over the meat. You'll lose a bit the crispy though.

  • you're unbelievably handsome.

  • @lt7676 err... thanks, i'll make sure to comb my hair and brush my teeth next time :D

  • @vloggingrapefruit well thankfully it's not smell-vision and the messy look is hot :) :D

  • @lt7676 Yea, really, right?!

  • the frying pan confirm very hard to wash ~

  • @BodyguardB hey mate, i scraped the wok before it really solidified to it!

  • looks very crispy!!!! makes me hungry XD

  • nice job and btw quick tip to keep ur board from moving like that a pot holder or tea towel under the board would stop all that sliding ^.^b...and with the saudce just like Maangchi said a little water would thin that right out =)

  • @kwaiipanda26 hey thanks dude ill try that towel trick sometime when not lazy ;p

  • @vloggingrapefruit anytime (and btw im a chick) but yea your welcome ^.^b

  • @kwaiipanda26 just about to say the same thing :)

  • @playjess68 lol guess i beat you to it =P

  • Great, now I'm hungry!

  • that was awesone ^_^

  • Cool.

  • great job!

  • I'm very impressed by your first time making dakkangjeong! It looks very crunchy and delicious even though the sauce turned out too sticky. A simple solution is to boil the sauce for a shorter time, or if it's already too sticky, add some water to make it less sticky. Remember what I said in the recipe, "Raise a spoon of the sizzling sauce above the wok in the air and drop it until the sauce begins stopping halfway" Good job! Congratulations! This is very popular party food.
