  • Japanese greasers FTW!

  • ブライアンセッツァー 尊敬!

  • gotta love the japs with the greaser hair

  • Why it shows the full orchestra when its only the trio playing?

  • @TheSheepherd

The set was split between the trio and the full orchestra. This vid introduces them as well as allowing us to enjoys Brians amazing playing.

  • @elauper8 '68 Comeback Special is the name of the trio, in tribute to Elvis' TV Special. It's Brian first 3 piece band since the Stray Cats to feature the classic guitar-bass-drums format.

  • Sporting my Rant N Rave T-Shirt while jamming to this!

  • Rock-a-billy rules!!!

  • are you sure it is 68 comeback? or you mistaken Elvis Presley 68 comeback special?

  • Of the many versions of this tune Brian Setzer et al have come up with over the years, I still think I prefer the first, but thats probably only because it was - well, the first I heard and got used to. After knowing that one, the jazz version was really a downer for me, but this version is great. Maybe the full drum kit seems a bit out of place - but then maybe I'm just being picky.

    Love it anyway. Thanks!

  • gracias brian!!

  • dit is rock a billy de grootste in zijn stijl muziek sinds jaren bedankt.

  • He has been around for a long time

  • definatly still got it!

  • fuckin great

  • I love Setzer but every year he slows the tempo more and more and more. but he sure as all hell can play that guitar.

  • Hey rockers; Do anyone have the music video of this one? They all ride in to the party in those awesome hot rods. tia

  • That a fact? Well good for him.

  • it's Julie Setzer now (Brians wife), not Julie Retten.

  • Goddamnit I love this : D

  • LOL advertisment on this page for a concert for the jonas brothers...

why would i want tickets for the jonas brothers i have tickets for brian setzer!!!XD

  • jiippyy a jeah....rockabilly

  • nerd57110

  • he wrote the song. so theres no wrong way for him to sing it.

  • I think Brian was meant to be like 16 in 1950....I love his style of playing. This is a great song and he breathed some life into it again...GO STRAY CAT GO....best boogie song

  • if he would have been 16 in1950 this type of music may have died, he brought it to a new generation

  • good point :) What I was trying to say is that it was liked he plucked straight out of the 50's....:)

  • Brian Setzer (born April 10, 1959, Massapequa, New York)

  • that's about 20 minutes from me. the local guitar center has a 25 foot picture of him on the wall

  • Brian Setzer's the reason I got a Gretsch.

  • what model?

  • Electromatic G5120. Great guitar, especially for the price.

  • @letsgocubs13 amen!

  • me too! :)

  • @letsgocubs13 excellenet choice

  • Bernie Dressel, Mark Winchester and Brian Setzer are 68 comeback special, and Lee Rocker, Slim Jim Phantom and Brian Setzer were the Stray Cats.

  • BEST GUITARIST EVER!

  • jon...I doubt that...none is the best as it's not a competition you can win....His influence Ed was real great at the Gretsch 6120...The twang's the thang...so don't let the strings rattle, folks

  • Dumb question...is the bass player and the drummer the same from the Stray Cats?

  • no,the stray cats were lee rocker, slim jim phantom, and brian setzer.this is the bso members are;brian setzer, bernie dressel, and mark winchester.

  • i think the stray cats did a tour of europe last year tho.

    so they still exist right?

  • It was probably just a reunion concert for the stray cats. Example: The band Cream had a reunion in 2005, although they broke up in 1968.

  • i dont know, it misses the energy of the straycats

  • SUPERP I was at the concert in Hamburg, NICE !

  • only 5 saxaphonists!?

  • My dad told me about an interview with Kirk Hammet. The guy was telling him, "You're such a god!" Kirk said, "I went to see Brian Setzer live once, and I was just standing there thinking, 'What am I doing? Why do I bother?'"

  • Yeah, cause Hammet is no idiot. He knows a superior when he sees one. Setzer is SOOOOOOOOO underrated.

  • I really wish Setzer would get the recogniton he deserves. That's what I like about Hammet. He's humble, and gives credit where it's due. He's not one to be cocky. He appreciates talent like Brian's.

  • The BAND is called '68 Comeback.

  • has gone so un noitced ! Thanks 32 deuce

  • Memories are made of this.

    Thanks Doc.

  • Здорово!Чисто и вкусно!

  • Handmade-Musik vom feinsten. Mitreißend und einfach nur zeitlos begeisternd.

    Klasse!!!!!!!!!!

  • That was just fantastic, rock on Brian!

  • great ! but stray cats version is best

  • ???? Stray Cats are the "infant" version of this band. That's Brian singing there too, The sound is so much richer here. Incredible talent and much unrecognized. FANTASTIC!!!
