Roy was an exact copy of Marth, just his attacks were slower, but not even stronger. Roy was cool, but a fail.

Marth is cooler than Ike. It's a fact. Ike is cool too, but not AS cool. He's lame and cool at the same time. (I don't know how that makes sense, but that's Ike!) lol

Good duel. I think Marth is the more careful player in this case. He's using his speed well, which is smart. But Ike seems a little bit reckless. I've found if you play defensive and let them come to you, if you're ready you can seriously catch them off guard. at about 2:45 or so you can see where Ike swings, and Marth counters, but doesn't reach him. Ike's reach is thus, greater.

Use that. And countering is fine, just make sure you time it right, because a miss counter gives away a free hit.

The ike player started off great, but then became WAY too spammy. Its no wonder you barely even touched him for the remainder of the match.

USE IKES NORMAL COMBO. It is there for a reason. USE COUNTER. Its is there for a reason.

STOP SPAMMING SMASHES EXPECTING TO GET LUCKY. It only gets you killed.

with fast attacks its easier to combo

Bit of advice, though - you might want to use his bside for movement rather than attacking because of the heavy lag. What I usually do is try to time it so quick draw lands you right in front of the opponent without the attack, then chain it into a 3 hit combo.

Marth is a better character, Ike will only be mid tier if he's lucky. Most likely will be bottom tier.

The counterattack duration seems shorter in Brawl. Kind of a downer since it was one of my favorite moves in Melee.

Can you say epic? From the taunts at the beginning to the very end, this was really an awesome match! THe clinks from the swords and sheilds made it that much better!
