The quiet ones are Andy & Gem - it's a little cry for attention from Gem cos the Gallaghers get all the adoration. Liam is on vocals for one reason - Noel is terrified of being upstaged vocally. Gem can sing better - he sounds like Bruce Springsteen.
I don't think Noel cares or is worried, he's a phenomenal singer and has written the greatest songs of all time. Heaps of em. And I'm sure Gem is well chuffed to be a part of Oasis. I'd join as a guy that sits on the stage with a tambourine and be content.
the only reason this song wasn't an outstanding album track, and for that matter a single, is because it doesn't have a chorus... an incredibly magnetic melody, not brought to the heights in deserves.
Although it was said that Oasis's no original, they copied the Beatles, their ego is too big blah blah blah...
