The movie as I remember aired in Canada in 1988. The movie is not perfect, however it is not a total loss. It tried to capture the attitude of the British monarch and the Zulu kingdom. And it didn't show the british as superior but as savages themselves in speech and attitude. If it has not capture the truth of the Zulu people or Shaka then it should be re-done. However to say that the attempt of the writters and directors in this mini series is a total lie - is one in itself a lie.

i think south africa(especialy the rich zulu guys) should do justice and re make this movie. the re-make should have no white white people(no offence the real shaka zulu never met a white person) and be done in isizulu(maybe with english sub titles). my reason in saying this its because it doesnt potray our history its just a total lie and nothing else.
