At 1:45, she stole the, looks like a bag o' coins, back from the red-robed dude and the guards did see it. It reminds me of the stupidness of npc's in the Neverwinter Nights series, where i could steal a hella lot from npcs without them recognizing. Funny stupidness. o.O
Starting from 6:00, the "goddess" is the student-girl from The Gamers 1, who's completely frustrated and annoyed by the first gamers. She's quite a beautiful goddess. I wonder if she can take a look at my rez-"staff". Haha. Just kidding. But she's still beautiful.
She probably had forgotten about it. I know I did until you mentioned it. Wish was spur of moment and she had to decide quickly. So she went with what her character saw as the best possible option.
The holy water was just one part of the component to rez someone. You would also need a high ranking cleric as well. Of course the one who rezed the Flinn could rez Osric as well. But the wish was better role-playing.
Although he went crazy with it, I agree. Flynn got rezzed by a staff. Rezzing is simplistic. I would've gone bigger and included a rez staff. But that's just me...and he went nuts about it. Way too overboard. lol
Then she would have to retire ther character and roll up new one. She wants to RP and enjoy playing her character. Also she played true to her character. Her character would not see the wish as way to get powerful. Their are some situations where you have to merge your self with your character and think like them. In her place, my first thought would not be to make myself a god, but to rezz someone who was a commrade NPC or not, in my party.
Wouldn't it be smarter to wish for the ability to rezz someone completely at will without having them lose a level from it, or give that power to everyone in the party?
I mean, that would be something I would've done in her place, considering how she has spent so long with the bard, something like that would become obvious...and it'd give them free rezz for the rest of their careers, which is always nice.
Imbalacing. A DM would have a curse put on character down the line to take ability away. Possibly have the ability bestowed by an object so it can be stolen/destoryed later. Or even requring a large amount of XP and/or a high material component cast to use the ability.
Joanna made the right choice about the wish. Besides, you couldn't wish for ever magic item the the book. Her character wouldn't have a D&D book to ask for everything from. And whatever she did wish for the DM would have called for a INT check to see if her character heard of it. If she wished for more than one thing, like say, "I wish for a and b," the wish would have ended. As soon as she said "and" it would have started a new wish so the one wish would have been over with.
Well, the dungeon master controls the game period. If he says something doesn't exist, it doesn't exist. Anyways, wishing for every item in the book is possibly the dumbest wish ever. Sure, you will have all the items....including the intelligent ones that take possess you and make you do what they want you to do. It is so easy for that wish to backfire in the worst possible way.
The dungeon master controls the game to an extent. You're not going to loot great items off of dead corpses unless the dungeon master wants you to have them. A 20lv character still pwns a lv 9 one :P. And I didn't see them killing any gods in the movie? The priest guy and the main evil guy were mortals >.>
I knew she was going to wish the paladin back alive. The other wishes were stupid. Why wish for every magical item in the game when you can loot them off your enemy dead bodies? Why wish to be a god when you can kill gods? Why wish to be a 20lv character when you still got your 9lv equipment? Enough said...
At least Cass admits he's a dick at the end. And he did have a point about Joanna wishing for immortality and THEN resurrecting Osric. But of course there's the pretty large plot hole consisting of the fact that holy water was JUST USED to resurrect Flynn, and every single character forgot all about it. D'OH~!
regardless, we are pretty fail. I wont bother to elaborate on that, since you can write a book series on it, but just think on how much humanity fails in so many faucets, even in our successes...in other news...
did you know that Berlin is so full of hot women, I cant even compare it to back in North America..
One thing about ressing Osric is that since he was killed by goddly powers, maybe he can only be ressed by similarily powerful forces? Just a thought.

It looked sort of like the Death power left the mask, and the mask let the hierophant tap his goddess' power, who was trapped in the light ball on the staff. The mask just seems to be a conduit of power, rather than one of those god traps, because how is the mask death, in the same way the ball of light is light? Praise be to thee, oh Theran
Goddess of the Light,
Your [...ness] and mercy guide us
Safely through the night,

Keep us safe we pray
That we may rise and worship you
All...of the day!
The dots are where I can't hear the lyrics due to character dialogue.
ShadowWalkerSAviy 3 years ago
The first set of dots is "radiance"
Your "radiance" and mercy guide us.
The second one may read "The Keeper of the Day". I could confirm if I could read his lips.

That we may rise and worship you
