  • pretty aswome bro

  • but it will send tiny little sharp pieces o glass in any directions faster than u would like. like a hand granade. really really dangerous.

  • nice, what's the name of the switch ? i would like buy one myself.

    regards

  • that was awsome

  • you have a nice voice. no homo

  • AWESOME dude thanks for sharing

  • yeah

    glass in my eyes!

  • My ignition system is a homemade time with display, set up so the timer, upon reaching zero, will trigger an SCR to activate the ignitor. I really like this ignition system because I'm working with a lot of flash powder. I have a vid and schematic for the countdown timer on my channel. I've only ever used it with the igniters in your vid, never failed.

  • I was going to post a how to for the same igniter, but mine was ~7 minutes. I think that's just too long for me to upload. (My connection is REALLY slow.)

  • if you heat it enuf than you should be able to break it by only puting it in the water

  • Hmmm.... why not use one cellphone as a transmitter and another "cheap" trac one phone as a receiver? You can light that thing from almost anywhere :-)

Attach the leads from the positive and negative terminals near the motor area of the the cellphone you are using as the receiver?

You can easily find 10$ cheap arse trac phones at wal-mart.

  • @hospitalbedpan1 cause depending on what service you use, it could be set off accidentally, like happened to an IRA bomb maker several years ago. The bomb blew up when it received a text message to say how many minutes were left on the card....

  • cool now i know how to blow up my school :)))

  • Hello All. You can get a disposable camera from the dolloar store usualy $5 -$10. If you open the case and remove the flash bulb (USE CAUTION THIS IS VERY HIGH VOLTAGE YOUVE BEEN WARNED) Add your length of wire to the terminals where the flash bulb was i soldered it but im sure you can use hot glue of somthing now you have a very high voltage detonator and trust me it sets off things bigger than a cristmas light. simply press the flash on botton and then snap a pictire

  • I happen to have an Estes controller, it uses 6 volts, not 3, and it works just fine. Visit my channel and you can see it being used.

  • @XDLostTheGame No I'm not new to the internet. Bt with adblock some pages don't work right.

  • hey am retarded nd dont knw anything, how did u attch the light or install

  • where can i get the ignition system box???

  • thanks so much i was wondering what i could use for that

  • Remember when you could watch a video without having to sit through a commercial?

Remember when music videos were uploaded by users and not VEVO

Remember when all the info was to the right of the video?

Remember you could rate a video 1-5 stars?

Remember the famous yellow subscribe button?

Remember when the users controlled the site and not corporations?

    WE MISS THE OLD YOUTUBE!

Post this in every video and lets start a youtube riot

    Thumbs up

  • @TuckLikesFire remember when they were going to shut youtube down because it cost to much money to run?

remember when users couldnt make money from there videos that they dedicate so much time into?

remember when the adds came and kept youtube alive and made your favorite youtubers money?

  • @suzuki834 Have you noticed how many youtubers aren't popular enough to make money from their videos? Don't they put time and effort into their videos? Depending on the price I truthfully would rather pay then have all of these ads. Also, learn how to spell ads properly.

  • @TuckLikesFire well thats just fine and dandy if u would pay for youtube but the majority would never

and its called having a sticky keyboard

  • @suzuki834 Then the majority can watch ads, I think they should have an option to pay and have the ads on the videos you watch taken off.

  • @TuckLikesFire k that is a good idea

u could just substitute that whole list by saying "hey we should be able to pay to get rid of the ads"

  • @suzuki834 I got that thingy from a different video, and it made me think

  • @TuckLikesFire Ads? Get Firefox or Chrome with AdblockPlus

  • @TuckLikesFire I didn't have to watch a commercial before this video

  • @TuckLikesFire

1.Without commercials youtube wouldnt still be up

2.It is illegal for viewers to upload music videos without rights, without vevo youtube would be illegal / shut down

    3. OMG your right that ruins youtube so much, even though it makes up more room

    4. thats why they invente a like/dislike system, idiot.

    5. technically users didnt control the sight admins did, so thats just bull.

Its just like complaining about growing up,

not everything is situated around you, idiot

  • @TuckLikesFire cool story bro, what chapter do you stfu? :D

  • @TuckLikesFire shut the fuck up. Without ads or vevo, we would have to pay for you tube, so sit the fuck back and watch your video.

  • Comment removed

  • do you have to replace the christmas light every time you use it?

  • this is pretty awesome for a spudgun

  • ?instead of black powder could i use crushed match heads

  • @Moeisabeast12 Yes you could but make sure when crushing you are gentle and that you are using saftey matches :)

  • @TheFluxuations haha i tried it out and it works amazingly thanks! i lit like 5 smoke bombs already, i did not make the igniter with the buttons i just made the lightbulb thing and hooked it up to a 9v =D =D

  • why wont u make a video of how to make a wireless ignitor and detonator

  • i like how it says "do not try this at home" but the title is " how to make" where should i try this then?

  • where can i buy an electronic igniter thats cheap

  • i got relly hard to answer qwestion: if you want to ignit a viso fuse how do you attach the ignitor?

  • @iliya1997 buy some nichrome wire ( its cheap) and then connect the wire from one alligator clip to the other making sure that in the little bridge it makes contact with the visco :)

  • @TheFluxuations hehe i ment to this kind of ignitor

  • mmhhmmhh.....pyrotechnic composition. lol

  • those toys are only for adults not kids

  • amazing video do you have to change the light after you use it

  • I strip wire with my teeth. Much easier.

  • @AntiChristClub lol me 2

  • dopeded

  • As an old powder monkey liscensed in explosive devices and with all my appendages II would like to caution you. I would like to take this opportunity to point out the unstable relationship between plastic containers/implements and smokeless or black powder.... that pesky static cling... Uncontained, an unanticipated flare up of your powder reserve might prove a bit nasty, if other combustibles were present? As for wireless, its difficult to beat keyless entry.

  • *boom*.....*quick silence* "woah, that was awesome" lolz

  • Now do you use a 9 volt battery in the control box?

  • something tells me u know a little too much about that stuff

  • haha, we wouldn't want anyone getting hurt because of broken glass while building a bomb igniter...;)

  • Just do it with a glow plug instead of the lamp! You don't have to break the glass and you can re-use it ;)

  • THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH that helped a TON!!!

  • THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH that helped a TON!!!

  • hi..i hav a question..why does my LED Light burns wen i turn the toggle switch on???plssss help me.!!

  • @bleedingsoulful to much power

  • @xXLoVeRandHaTeRXx to much power??why??i did all the instructions..i used a 9v battery..

    pls help.

  • @bleedingsoulful

if no res. handy a coil of lite gauge alum wire...fusible link sorta

  • @bleedingsoulful look for a 100homs resistor, that will fix your problem..

  • @evvolution ok thanks..where will i connect it??

  • great vid =D

your reaction about the stripping just made this video perfect

  • can i use a match head?

  • it says in the description DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME so where the bloody hell do u try it then !!!!!!!!

  • love it well done mate. im gona spend the next couple of hours in th shed.

  • ........71 people 4 got to take the glass off

  • thats a great invention you have there!

  • That was pretty cool! That's amazing how you thought of that!

  • pretty good! However, it's much easier to use wire strippers. ;) The only thing is when your igniter goes off, you'll still get glass everywhere!

  • Your igniter contol panel looks just like mine except my lights in the safety switch lights up the hole red cover, i added another light LED but it drew to much power dident need it.! my question to you is what kind of cells are you useing and how many, im useing eight AA cells, it don't seen to be ehough, i think it might be my wireing it has a 9 volt connector with small wires could that be the cause and are you useing copper wire in your controler and what gage wire is it, thank you David*

  • i luv it i want to make one but i dont have black powder

  • *Boom*

    *Silence*

    "Woah that was awesome." :D

  • so i just wire everthing together and im good to go pretty cool thanks :)

  • The only supplies i had of this vide wsa the needle nose pliers :(. besides i dont get this video

  • The only supplies i had of this vide wsa the needle nose pliers :(

  • all that work for that

  • Oh man, you better ban all the angry people from viewing that one. guys like SxEJuggaloManboy will be hunting all of us from YouTube down one at a time if he got hold of that one hahaha.

  • @emc25042 Don't worry, I have a video coming up on my homemade .22 pistol veerrrrryyyy soon.

  • @ChuKoNu1 What the dimensions of the project box you are using. also i had a look at the schematic and that guy you were arguing with is a total Nob

  • @ChuKoNu1

at 6:54 if you use candle wax to seal the light bulb, you get a water tight seal :p

  • @emc25042 naaa. the cup fires .50MG.

  • @emc25042

If we followed that kind of logic, than we wouldn't have a free distribution of information. It's inflammatory, ridiculous and panic-driven comments like that which stunt the innovation, sharing of information and development of better methodology. Sure, this could be used for harm, but so can a car engine. Are we to not teach others how to repair their engine when it won't turn over?

And if you think that's ridiculous, criminals use spark plugs to easily break windows.

  • @jackandmeg2001 Thhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnk Yoooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuu. I hate those pussies all " Oh, you made a christmas light thats gonna start the apocalypse! Everybody panic!

  • @emc25042 Or, i can buy some explosives and shoot it with a gun. It isnt hard to get what you want (and legally)

  • lol if people want to kill people they can jump in a car or pick up a knife. just because someones cutting up a ham it does not mean they are getting some practice in to hack up a body

  • this might be a stupid question but are they reusable or does the explosion destroy the tungsten coil in the bulb?

  • Where did you get your neat bunsen burner ,it is a nice bit of kit

  • what battery did you use?

  • @iudfagajg probably is the 9v used to test the bulb, turning on the bulb and ignition start, you can use only a time, the oxygen destroy bulb filament, or inside has transformer working like automotive coil to give a spark

  • i am now making a mini pocket sized detonator

  • Can you use a simple candle instead of the bunsen burner?

  • clever , very clever

  • Good

  • thanks this works very well for me

  • HOLLY SHIT AWESOME THUMBS UP!!!

  • Thanks, these ignitors works awesome.

  • where did you get the black box?

  • 50$? I can make one for max 15$ but i live in norway

  • great now i can finish making my bomb lol jk

  • nice man :) thanks really for this video

    i enjoy it :D

  • awsome

  • help my light burns out before my powder ignites

  • This video won my subscription. :)

  • can i ignite it with this battery 4:19 ?

  • thats a cool bunsen burner

  • Cool vid and good thinking , looking for safer way to set off acetylene balloons on the forth of july

  • did you make the switch or buy it? if bought where? in made what are the parts?

  • awesome!!!

  • Can you light a recrystallized kno3/sugar rocket with that?

    Thanks

  • now im gonna do that to a whole string of someones lights so when they plug it in they all explode

  • AH GLASS SHARD IN MY EYE!!!!

  • shouldnt you calll it a firecracker not an ignitor coz u usse an ignitor

  • woo this is awesome i'm gonna make one how old are you

  • +1 for dairyqueen spoon in the black powder!

  • great video dude!

    i got just a question....

what if i put the ignitor inside a common or modiefied firework?

    will it blow?

  • Where you bought or how do you made the object where you have connected the christmast light? Help me please.Thank you

  • would flash powder work

  • Improper stripping technique @3:31

  • @TheLightningStalker I'm sure your mum knows all about proper stripping techniques.

  • @ChuKoNu1 looolllll BURNNNNN

  • @ChuKoNu1 nice one!!!!

  • @ChuKoNu1 omg that was reaaallyy funny :D

  • @ChuKoNu1 haaaa

  • @ChuKoNu1 lol that made my dayxD

  • @ChuKoNu1 lol

  • @ChuKoNu1 haha

  • @ChuKoNu1 godlike comeback!!!! ROFL

  • @ChuKoNu1 hahah i bet she does!

  • @ChuKoNu1 You just made my day

  • @ChuKoNu1

like You said.. ''This is the most time consuming part''

of course. If You don´t know how to strip wires properly, then that is the hardest part for You!! :D

  • @ChuKoNu1 oh snap! :D

  • @ChuKoNu1 Hey, I was curious as to how long the batteries last? I'm using a 34 gauge wire to bridge and create heat to light a match. I don't have black powder since I don't have access to sulfur. I'm getting about 6 or 7 'launches' before the batteries no longer work. I'm noticing that a 9V battery can heat the wire, but weak batteries pushing 16V cannot. Any ideas?

  • @ChuKoNu1 AWWWWW YEA you Went There xD

    nice One

  • lmao using long nose plyers what a noob. USE SOME SNIPS!!!

  • @TheLightningStalker Ownedd :D

  • you should put hot glue on it instead of tape

  • this guy is a legend, hands down no argument. I'm definitely subbing

  • whats ur power supply ?

  • dat was tight shit nice video bro

  • i did that but used jb weld instead of the tape and it was boss

  • if u hv wire strippers it will be alot easyier

  • @Legofan78 No. Thermite needs huge temperatures (over 1000 °C) to ignite. You'd have to use welding equipment or something similar to make it work.

Tip: If you are going to make black powder, pulverize all ingredients separately and wet them with distilled water before mixing them together. Otherwise you might lose your fingers...

  • i gonna use them to docorate my xmas tree, that gonna be a blast.

  • Do you have to use black powder? What about Gasoline or anything flamable?

  • Once the black powder is ignited, can you refill the bulb socket with more gun powder or do you have to use a new christmas light socket?

  • @m3e3t3a3l3i3c3a if the socket wont explode

  • could you put thermite into the bulb?

  • Will nine vaults make it ignite ? Like the battery u tested with originally

  • were do you get black powder?

  • instead of tape wouldn't it be better with masking tape but still great vid

  • Wow man i never thought of lighting a joint like that XD

  • do you think i can just stick 2 wires to my stungun and make that work? easier for me to do since i already got a stungun

  • @metalmanga u could but you would ruin ur stun gun lol

  • wow you kinda sound like Brandon Routh (superman returns)

  • wwoooo that was awesome! wwoooo doubble rainbow!

  • @wickit11 ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE SKY

  • @ChuKoNu1 hahaha! nice tutorial!

  • @ChuKoNu1 But what does it mean? =D

  • do I need a momentary switch ? answer please

  • what is that black powder? :o

  • can you re use it or not ?

  • wud u beable 2 use that other salt peter insted of black powder in ur how 2 make a fuse vid

  • hi i made this but i never workes the only differants is that i use gun powder or match heads. also my globe always go's out straight away?? need help

  • will it work with just a single 9v battery?

  • aaww im starting to miss my bomb makin times:D. i get caught to the police for makin bombs. luckily they were nice and only gave me fine. :D

  • This is all good & well, but there is no indication what voltage the christmas light is....is this the 12-volt version or 110volt A/C version? I don't think a bulb designed to run on 110ac would light-up with a 9-volt battery, so I'm guessing it's a 12-volt light?

  • @BikeSwimLaugh Evidently.

  • @BikeSwimLaugh based on that male plug end on the string of christmas lights, I would say 110 volt. they work on a lower voltage because they are wired in series and use only a portion of the (110) voltage

  • @BikeSwimLaugh based on that male plug end on the string of christmas lights, I would say 110 volt. they work on a lower voltage because they are wired in series and use only a portion of the (110) voltage

  • @BikeSwimLaugh

they are in series.... eg. say there are 20 of them.. then it would be 110 V / 20 = 5.5V each.

    To summarise: X # of bulbs in series , total voltage / X = V per bulb.

A special thing about cmas lights is when they go out , the whole thing would go off, so they are often designed either by having a special bulb being a 'fuse bulb' and/or when they blow, they automatically short circuit (so that the whole circuit still is unbroken).

  • @BikeSwimLaugh lol ... no

  • @BikeSwimLaugh The light doesnt give a rat's ass about voltage.

    The important here is amps.

  • awsome man well done!!

  • very impressive , you're an inventor , sorry for my english i'm french , so think you very much for this video , felicitations

  • where did you get black powder?
