    HOLY. SHIT.

  • dirty club with dirty tactics.

  • oh...my god, that tackle was bloody. bless david busst, it pains me to see this.

  • Get up and walk it off nancy

  • CLICK THE LINK!!! ITS HORRIFYING

  • They didnt amputate it!!.. he kept his leg.. a testimaonial was set up against Man u later on.. and he came on to score a Penalty in a game that ended 2-2.. was a great day!.. this is not fake either.. as a Coventry fan i remember meeting him as he signed autogrphs almost five months later.. his leg still in plaster.. the goal keeper Peter Shmeichel was apparently sick on the pitch just in the goal too.. horrific leg break.,

  • @BigSouze im glad to hear that he didnt have to get it amputated, it hurts just to watch it, did he play proffesionaly again?

  • @TheLFCxD I'm afraid not.

  • @TheLFCxD Nope, that was the last time he played.

  • ouch

  • ahhhhhh!!!!

  • That is sick as fuck, you can see the blood spurting out his leg

  • I'm sorry but that looks fake

  • @emster1198 It's not fake - it was one of the worst injures of football ever. The match was apparantely delayed for over 10 minutes because they had to clean blood off the pitch. The goalkeeper and several other players had to have counselling after witnessing Busst's injury.

  • @emster1198

I can confirm this is not fake because i was at the game at Old Trafford,Manchester when it happened. He was down for ages and eventually carried off. They had to chuck buckets of water down in the penalty area to dispurse the blood so that the game could continue. It was horrific, the whole stadium realised it was extremely serious.

    cheers

    ATVmidlands

  • Meaning his career was ended. STUPID Man U defenders, clumsy numskulls

  • Comment removed

  • @Sean9724 How can you say that?! its nobody fault at all you muppet it a accident, just coz u anit a man utd support don't mean they ment to hurt him, no player would want to hurt any other player like this, it was just a accident, you can't blame anybody

  • I was looking at the wrong leg thinking there's nothing wrong there then all the sudden ............O.O

  • Legs r not supposed to bend like that

  • No more boom boom for that guy!

  • holy fuck i dont even wanna look now. the fucking thing broke 90 degrees O.O he aint diving you bloody cunts, he's injured, & if you were there, you would've done the same thing. dare you stand up on your broken leg & say "im fine, just a broken leg. nothing much. it'll go, soon" ya bloody fuckers.

  • Get up ya fuckin diving bastard.

  • I used to train with David after his injury. Still pretty agile considering this sort of accident

  • @oliverj5610 how long after the injury was he agile?

  • @MrGunnerguy123 They had to amputate his leg. (Chop it off. )

  • @Sean9724 No they didn't.

  • he busst his leg lol, no im kiddin, its not funny

  • dion dublin's got a massive dick

  • @TheClayballs In the words of Alex Ferguson regarding Dion's cock "magnificent"

  • you dick this is a picture

  • @fluffydude0 Where was it claimed it wasn't.

  • @The246813 what?

  • @fluffydude0 you sed "you dick this is a picture." There is no-where where it claims it was a clip.

  • @The246813 yeah your right but still...

  • i would die one hundred times, and will never wake up. not of the pain, but the idea that that is my leg|!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is it blood or dirt around the area where he got hit? :o

  • @BornholmerRonne2

dirt too quick 2 be blood. this image is the closest 2 impact that is possible and blood isn't that instant. This picture is the one of the only 1's u'll ever see as sky and bbc have banned all further images of the injury to the public. They even censored the sound of his leg snapping on the film as it could be heard all over old trafford my uncle heard it and said it made him feel sick. If you listen closely u can hear where a bit of the commentators speech is cut out.

  • @Tom28301016

uhm, i can't hear that the commentary is cut out, at what second is it?

  • @BornholmerRonne2

It is a split second after the commentator says "flick on by wheelan" in the space just before he says "super save"

It is hard to tell but the original broadcast is slightly different, and unless you taped it on video, the clip's gone and will never be shown 2 the public.

  • i feel sick

  • and they say american football is tougher...

  • @poontang3zizo - haha, yeh with helmets & 6 inch thick padding from head to toe.. when they actually play.. how much of that game is just posturing & shit

  • gotta love the irony of his name though

  • I was there at the time remember schemeichel running to half-way line, lots of blood they had to put sand down. think david had to retire after this... not sure tho.

  • @gagsym Yeah - it ended his career. Now he's only really remembered for this injury.

  • i could take that like a tap on the shoulder

  • @TheFilthyCamel your a fucking idiot

  • @judgles103821 if YOU'RE going to call someone an idiot, you might be well advised to use the correct form of your/you're. just saying.

  • Chuck Norris wouldve cried like fuck

  • @Edawg649 no, that guy making the tackle would have exploded if that were chuck norris.

  • I fell deeply sorry for this man.. It's a terrorfying injury.. omg, Scmeichel can't look.. Neither can I .. Poor David Busst

  • but i've heard that when your leg breaks like this the pain is too intense for you to feel it meaning little or no pain......gosh i hope thats true cuz this is fucked up!

  • ...i want to puke.

  • whaaaaahh

  • He almost lost the leg from infections...but he still has his leg. I hope no one else has to go through that again.

  • @ ronfan69 fuck you he was a great player better than any of your shit english team

  • lil irish leg breaking rat. typical.

  • did his leg fall off?

  • @TrilogyofC

  • @TrilogyofC

    Only 1

  • i heard he plays for west ham nowdays. their top player

  • @DogChapmann

    This injury ended his career

  • reminds me a bit of joe theisman's injury.

  • That's nothing, I f*cking rolled my wrist punching a heavy bag today, is sore as hell. I now know what that Bust guy went through.

  • @KierenMan Only he knows what he went through

  • It peirced the skin and everything didnt it? Mate thats sick.

  • did his right leg actually brake in two places ?!?!

  • @TheKingOfKingsE

    10 places!!!

  • owwwwwwwwww thats gotta hurt o.O

  • how the fuck does this even happen?!?!?!?!?

i didnt notice it at first cos i was lookin at the left leg (closest) and couldnt see the problem... and then i saw it *recoils, followed by a stream of swearing*

  • david busst is my second cousin no joke

  • @littlelloydie if he is then how is he now. is he ok?

  • dear dear dear dear dear lord

  • I was at this game Brian McClair was a real pro... he held David down till the physio's and medics got to him

  • Schmeichel (sp?) was really shocked after the play. He couldn't watch.

  • they ned to drink more milk QQ Milk stronger the bones QQ >.>

  • @FoundButForgotten i dont think your leg poping out of the skin has anything to do with milk.

  • @johnwelshmorris5 and i dont think that you understood the irony in that comment -.-

  • @FoundButForgotten how is calcium gonna stop a broken leg like that? thats irony

  • how does that sort of injury happen?

  • Man U SCUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @coventry1997 well in

  • jesus.

  • that is almost more painful looking than the best scene from ruins

  • it was no ones fault, buss'ts leg clearly hits irwins foot from one direction while mclair's impact snaps the bone as the leg has no where to go was no malicious intent imo

  • He Bussted his leg... bad name to have as an athlete. I'm just sayin.....

  • chuck norris would have walked it off

  • @jdjk4 lol, if it actually broke, chuck norris bones are made of diamond.

  • i fink he might need a plaster on tha

  • That is one Busst leg.

  • @kalo93 so bad its good

  • I don't understand that picture... What part of his leg is that big blue thing?

  • @Fagottmusiker The big blue thing is his shin guard, which protects the frontal part of your shin bone. What your seeing is his lower leg, below the knee, basically snapped in half from the side. My guess is the a-hole in red, to his right is the culprit.

  • @GreenFlower412363

    Ouch...

  • @GreenFlower412363 what are you n investagator?

  • @GreenFlower412363 Brian McClair is the guy on the right

  • looks like he buust his knee cap lol

  • Bloody hell he's got an ironic name.

  • Holy shit for the first 15 seconds I was looking at his left leg and I was like "I don't see what the big deal is" and then I looked down and saw his right leg HOLY SHIT.

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!

  • Wat th fuk just happned thre

  • brian mcclair=[david busst ='[ sugardaddy86 8>

  • Sugardaddy86 u are an idoit i know his son and i hope ur leg falls off

  • @FEELGOODFRIDAY1 pleasant

  • wtf.... that is bad man

  • @Sugardaddy86 dick

  • Comment removed

  • wt fucking fuck

  • 26 operations -yeah - we got doctors like that over here in America also!!!!!!!

    .

That was Boosts last game - he retired (with both legs) on 6 November 1996 at the age of 29!

  • did he make a return to football?!!? anyone?!

  • @CBSparky9 no it finished him his leg almost amputated a real bad one.

  • @lwm1stps ya it looks horrible........ Thanks for the answer to my question :)

  • he had 26 operations on that leg

  • oh. shit.

  • lol that's funny. Why? Because he didn't drink his milk lol. What a dumbass. If you're gonna play in any sport, drink your calcium. I don't feel sorry for his stupidity AT ALL. "Haha HEY! I am going to play soccer (or football... since a lot of mentaly ill idiots can't comprehend the fucking name so well) even though I drink NO milk :D and I have osteoperosis. Yea, GO ME!"...

  • @ReadThisurDUMB the internet has been good to you hasn't it. It allows you to be a complete fucking moron with no consequences

  • HOLY FUCK

  • you can seee part of the bone. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

  • @KushKabob i ain't trying to insult you but i think that might be his shinpad ..

  • OMG! That must have been seriously painful. Busst must have been in agony for weeks! I've broke my arm and I thought that was bad, but that is both AGONISINGLY PAINFUL AND DISSCUSTING ON SO MANY LEVELS!

  • @P26DARK117

It was more like months of agony! Suergery had to be perform 26 times due to infections and the general seriousness of the injury.

  • the top half of his leg was shatterd his knee was bent the other way the his lower leg was snapped 90 degrees

  • Yeah Schmeichel was sick, Irwin was white as a ghost, Kanchelskis was crying i think. It was absolutely awful.

  • id shit myself screaming

  • This was in the sun today on the past moments. Made me sick! tho both coventry and united helped him recover and he is now playing in the over 35's 5aside non contavt league. carnt keep a good player down! fare play to him!

  • @123twan123 he works at the new cov stadium as well it was the least cov could do at least he's still working around football

  • @danman94 Yeah he's a real trooper most would just call it a day. fare play to him.

  • Hell no!

  • fuck thats most hurt like hell

  • dioooss :O qe impresión

he leido qe tardaron 12 minutos en sacar

la sangre de la cancha y qe Peter Schmeichel

vomito x la impresion y tb

qe le han tenido qe operar 26 veces para no

    amputarle la pierna!

  • how can ppl compare this with eduardo and cisse this guys shin almost snapped clean in half

  • caralhooo!

  • This was the first time I saw Manchester United, I was only young. The game was delayed for 30 minutes after the incident. I remember Peter Schmeichel with his head in his hands on the half way line, almost in tears. The ground staff tried to clear the blood in the box for a fifteen minutes and Schmeichel refused to go back until it was clear. There was such a sombre atmosphere in the ground afterwards. Such a tragedy that he could never play football again.

  • 12 minutes but w/e

  • wow its a miracle that his legs weren't amputated the blood from this injury took 12 mins to clear and it is rumoured that peter schimechiel(manutd gk excuse my spelling) vomitted on the pitch

  • he never said he did.. he said he nearly

  • it took me a while even to figure out where the injury was, thats how bad it was, i couldnt comprehend a foot going on a fucking 90 degree angle away from the leg

  • thank fuk that hasnt happened since.

i wud hate to see that i was @ stoke game im an arsenal fan and too see bottom half of ramseys leg dangling was bad enough.

  • i agree ramsey and eduardos are bad but this one is fukin unreal i remember wathching the replay of this wen it first happened and it woz the worst injury ive eva seen!!

  • ye got agree but i dont remember this happening to young, but prolly worst sporting injusy apart from deaths

  • @kingshlong101 search marcin wasilewski injury

  • no joke david buust lived down my grove

  • this was the worst injury ever .. he had surgery 26 times and never came back to football.. his leg was shattered litteraly and he almost amputated his legs but the doctors managed to save it

  • that looks bad but if u want to see some one break or dislocate ther leg twice and still play type in djibrel cisse but yea that is a bad injury

  • djibrill cisse injuries woz no were near as bad as this, this is the worst injury of all time in my view.. he shattered his leg litterally in 3 places, 3 open fractures and because there is only the tibia and fibula bones in the lower leg he managed to snap his fibula clean in half inside his leg and his skin woz pierced 3 times.. he had surgery loads and loads of times to save his leg and it woz just so fucked it woz unreal.. i dont think there will ever be another injury like this agen

  • @kingshlong101

Busst nearly had to have his leg amputated and contracted MRSA in hospital. After more than 26 operations Busst never played football again

  • LFCrik1: he never had his leg amputated coz hes jus been on sky sports with both his legs but yeah he never played again

  • yea, thats why i said he nearly did!!!

  • :O thats baddd

  • omg

  • i dont know how easily these legs break by just an impact of other players legs. hairlines fractures are ok but these just come aprt.

  • Worst one ever has to be Djribil Cisses' second leg break. Disgracefully bad

  • im not surprised that schmeichel has to look away.

  • he said in an interview he had to go for counselling after it because he was having knighmares

  • well, it doesn't actually look more horrible than Eduardo's one.

Eduardo proceeded with his career though

  • @nblBer it was worse because the bone actually pierced his skin.. Like the goalie had to under go counseling after. Also, he could never play again..

  • ouch that ended his career that is the worst leg break i have seen

  • @worthlessdollar1 - are u havin a fuckin laugh!?!?

  • His playing career came to an end on 8 April 1996, whilst playing for Coventry against Manchester United. Busst collided with United players Denis Irwin and Brian McClair, resulting in extensive compound fractures to both the tibia and fibula of his right leg. It was however, not the break that ended his career, but infections suffered afterwards. The match had to be delayed for 12 minutes while the blood was cleaned off the pitch.

  • this is the risk of being so brave

  • It was a terrible injury to be sure. That said, it's amazing more don't occur at that intense level of play.
