hello. I'm from Latvia which is a rather far way away from North Dakota but I wonder whether there are any guitar tabs or just the main chords of this song published anywhere?
Thank you for this wonderful song. Even I dont know your country, i can feel the love you have for it. And its perfect for my playlist "american states in songs". Thank you for sharing your talent!
HUffland Bay River River Rat, next to Little Egypt here. Love the sound, love the song, going to buy it off itunes right now. I live half the time on the River down by Lunds landing on 1804. I use to drive ever day into Teddy Roosevelt Gras lands, a lot of the area looks familiar, great job on the photography and editing of this and the other version. Out here in Spokane pic-ken my Taylor just like yours, looks like you're a tail dragger pilot also, Keep up the good work. Great work.
I also created an account just so I could comment. The video and the song captures North Dakota. You both did an amazing job. I hope this gets around the world.
im doing a project for school and i chose nd for my big bro and friend and i needed to find a good song and vid to choose thatnk you for actually making one and i will make all the credit to vid for u thx
i created an account just to comment on this video. it was Dickinson, ND where i first went to college in US. now im in texas. but i miss north dakota. it was like my home. its like heaven, beautiful place, nice people...... i d like to go there again... good song man..and yes.. i feel sorry for people who havent been there and make fun of ND.

Adam, this was just amazing! Words can't describe the pictures and music--reminds me why I miss ND so much!! I grew up in Devils Lake and my hubby in Fargo. You've got quite the talent!
I think about it this way: Northwest Washington makes me want to shout, or cry out how beautiful is creation. North Dakota stuns me to silence. It's awesome, or more accurately, Sublime. "I thank God for sharing his love with me." well said Adam.
Wow. This was great. I grew up in Rugby, lived in G.F. for a few years before moving to Az. in mid-80s. I've been in almost all of these scenes. The crop duster @ 3:58 was my dad. Not literally, but close enough. Thanks Adam. North Dakota is a special place that those who have never spent time there will never understand.
Sure makes me want to go there! Nice work Adam and NIck. It's good to see your tracks on youtube. Sure makes me miss the live jam sessions though! Keep recording those mad skills!
My father always said that if you move away eventually you will come back because the beauty of North Dakota will forever be burned into your soul! That is so true. You truely have put your soul into this song and I am forever grateful for that, thank you very much.
My father always said that if you move away eventually you will come back because the beauty of North Dakota will forever be burned into your soul! That is so true.
The feeling of N.D. is in this song. Sometimes it's hard to explain the beauty to people that haven't lived there. Like my father said many years ago about the badland country,"It's the kind of beauty that doesn't shout at you but gently creeps up and stays with you." He lived in Sentinel Butte many years ago and I'm sure he would have loved your song, Adam.
My mom sent me this and she got it from her brother. We are all from ND, I no longer live there, I am in Minnesota, and you really made me cry and miss my ND homeland. Please keep them coming. You did a fabulous job. Thank you!!!
Nice song and video Adam and well performed! I was born in Fargo -- lived until the 1960's in Williams Co. -- sheep ranch & wheat farm, chores, one room school, hours on horseback. I was back this summer -- the prairie was never more beautiful and the wheat crops the best I've ever seen. But many of the old farmsteads are vacant , lost in the huge fields. I am glad for the new oil discoveries but I hope it does not leave the state with LESS than it had in REAL treasure!
My grandma in Dickinson just sent me this. This is one of the best songs I've heard in awhile. So beautiful -- thank you for writing it!
I miss ND so much! I live in San Diego, CA now and have lived all over -- Europe, Washington DC, Michigan, but nothing beats ND. No wonder I am often so homesick for my homestate of ND - a state where nothing gets in the way of your values. This song touched me so much. Thanks again! God Bless!
Sorry Adam, I got it all wrong. My aunt that sent me the link to your song stated that it was FROM one of our relatives in Minot. Not that YOU are one of my relatives..LOL. Last names of some of my ND relatives are Urwin, Mathis, Johnson and Hill. I remember visiting their huge beautiful ranches and they had week long round ups. They had silver saddles and hats and rode their horses in the parade. Still had the log homestead cabin. But anyway, it was a beautiful song and you did a great job.
Was sent this link by my Aunt in Seattle. She said it was "our relatives" in ND. I wonder how we are related?? I am in Michigan. ND looks like a beautiful state. I have been there several times. Are you related to "Bries" in McIntosh MN? They were my grandparents.
thanks for the kind word for my song, "North Dakota Feels Like Home". I enjoyed your song very much too. Love the flying parts. I'm a pilot and a 1958 C172 owner.
