Easy Ricky. You are the one who said, "I wonder if he's as burnt out as he seems or if that is just an act?" I responded to that comment. Don't see any reason to take offense to that. You said he was a musical genius. I saw no reason to repeat that.
@glazedmule sir lord baltimore, blue cheer, randy holden, dust (couple tracks), cactus (couple tracks), not much else, but also all 3 piece (or less) bands except Cactus.
Similar to The Cream The James Gang got a ton of sound out of three instruments. This was a live playing here on Beat Club. Great version of this killer song.
MusikLaden German compilation TV clips on DVD, I had it and it was stolen I can only assume, it's gone now, nice to see this here, There's Jethro Tull and Alice Cooper on the DVD as I recall, and Humble Pie
It's amazing to think of the musical genius of this man after you hear him talk in an interview! I wonder if he's as burnt out as he seems or if that is just an act? There's no denying the brilliance of his musicianship.
@rickyon Only as burnt out as Ozzy O, he's done his share of chemical abuse, but Felder recounts in his book, that Joe picks up a guitar and smokes. Other times, he was very rusty and held back, when they were due to perform, he sat in back, barely playing on occasion IIRC
I don't doubt it but I've seen it before where a very intelligent person just comes off as a dufus. Sometimes it's done on purpose, other times it's just that they are very good at the social graces. There is no doubt about the fact that Walsh is a musical genius in my mind!
@rickyon That burnt out old musician is a multi-millionaire and guitarist for the Eagles. He created a style all his own that sounds better with every year that passes. Check him out playing at Crossroads and other places here at YT.
It amazes me how someone can totally ignore the fact that I called Him A musical genius and a brilliant musician and message me to check out that very fact! I'm a huge Joe Walsh fan and I know all about him. I've been playing his music since the late '70s.
one of the most underated drummers of all time

John Entwistle from The Who had a bass just like the bass that Dale Peters is playing in this video.

His stage presence is reminiscent of Kurt Cobain.

According to his guitar tech he's really smart, despite what it seems.
