you know you can just press + in gimp to magnify. and if you don't want to waste time checking length and width, you just copy image you want to edit to desktop, edit it and drag it back to the folder where you copied the image from. press yes. IF YOU DON'T HAVE WINRAR, CLICK ON 7 ZIP THINGY (usually second from the top ) AND USE "OPEN ARCHIVE".
